A digital drawing I did on my iPad using procreate.

I'm taking part in a doodle-a-day challenge on Instagram - here's my entry for the prompt 'game'. I'm going for an adventure / lost boys theme, so reckoned hopscotch is the kind of game they might play in the sand :)

Opposites, blue and orange. Part of the sandwich bag art I started in 2008 when I began drawing on my kids sandwich bags

Created with gauche paint on 18”x24” paper. Creative landscape

a doodle because I heard the phrase "Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater" just one too many times!

This is a “Draw This in Your Style” sketch I did for artofflore_ on Instagram of her OC, Stella.

I’m fascinated in how something may make you feel. For instance, I’m deeply moved by images of outer space from the Hubble space telescope, but I do not try to recreate those photographs in my work. What does not exist in those photos, is how they may make us feel. This is why you won’t see any “realism” in my art. When we send astronauts to space, they can discuss factually what is happening, but what truly moves human beings is when astronauts describe how they felt while they were there. So, I choose to express how I feel, as opposed to illustrate what I see.

I used some of my travel pictures to design my image.

Super quick perspective practice doodle

This was gonna be vent art but idk XD

I've started a series in my sketchbook...actually, it's a series inside of a series. The series started as an idea I called "The Hidden Octopus". It's an Instagram account where I post quirky little ideas I draw with my Sharpie and the watercolor it to make it pretty. Then I thought I'd start a series inside of that where I do Song Lyrics that I really like. This is one of the first in that series.

Lindsey's prompt: Diving

Saw some four legged shark hybrid art over on Pinterest and figured I’d have a shot at one of my own…

October in a nutshell, I suppose?

This is an acrylic painting that I made for someone I was close to. We would often take turns of one of us being overly affectionate and the other being playfully annoyed. I tried to capture this dynamic in the painting of these two owls. This painting was an experiment in portraying animals, something I don't do often, and using my paint knife as a tool in my paintings.
