This here is a doodle-cluster of characters. I started off doodling one character and let its outline define the next one until I filled up the shape.

Another inspired drawing by the national thing of the day, today is Croissant Day. Part of the sandwich bag art I started in 2008 when I began drawing on my kids sandwich bags.

I have started keeping a digital sketchbook. This is the first page.

This started of as a simple doodle that became a bit more complicated. I used copic liner,gold ink and a bit of watercolor for shadowing.

Started but couldn't finish.

I was tired of carrying around a bunch of Microns. I want one or two refillable pens so I started with buying a new Lamy AL-Star Fountain Pen. I love it. I got the medium nib and am able to get a nice range of line width from it. This and maybe a fine nib and I'll be all set for a travel kit. This is the first page I drew with it.

I started off with a circle on a big paper and somehow came to this, I really enjoy looking at this an I hope you do toooo.

I have a little Moleskine (3.5 x 5.5) notebook that I only draw skulls in. I started in November of 2013 and I do one whenever the urge strikes me. It's not like a skull-a-day thing but sometimes I do get into a period where I will draw one every day for a while then I won't draw any for months. I even lost it for a while and was very sad. I think the longest gap between pages has been a year. This is the most recent skull, drawn on 05.28.2018. Most of them are posted on my Instagram but you have to scroll back a ways to get at the bulk of them.

I spotted a huge line drawing on YouTube. I was curious about how it feels to draw just lines over and over again. The one on the web was four times as big as this one (on A3 paper). Half way through I started to nod off. Next morning I thought the green

Had another drawing in progress I started at my art club tonight that I finished en route home… and here we are!

I first started this oil on canvas painting at a conference in Lexington Kentucky. Transporting the wet canvas was a challenge

First time coloring with markers since I was a kid. Couldn't sleep last night so I started drawing this. No idea what it is. Just let the pen do the work haha organized my art supplies today and decided to finally try out my markers.

A few years ago this little guy showed up. He started appearing in my doodles as encouragement. Always defending, never judging. He is the side of my brain that tells me everything is going to be OK. He builds me up, which is why I named him Buil.

Words of wisdom that a friend came out with during a Lord Of The Rings Extended Editions film night over the weekend jumpstarted my creative juices this time around. :-)

I love the show Breaking Bad, and rewatch watch it a lot. I noticed the other night Saul said this to Walt and I immediately got out my iPad and started in on the letters.

Saw this missing cat poster whilse out running errands the other day which started off with the sentence "Answers to Esme", and those words have been circling around in my head ever since. Naturally, the end product here had little to do with the finished artwork!

I listen to music when I draw and, even though he's not "cool" anymore, I still like Jack Johnson a lot. This song came on and I started the letters.

I've been working on mountains lately and started in on Matterhorn. Here is my first attempt. I have a ways to go. I'm still working through it.

Sunday afternoon sitting on the porch just doodling. I'd been drawing my neighborhood all day so I stopped and had a beer, and just started in on this.

Something a little different than my normal work. I just started a tattoo apprenticeship so I am learning to draw in traditional tattoo flash style. My old style of illustration work will not go anywhere. I am continuing that but just growing artistically and learning something new.

Birds bikes and bells. It started as a quick bike doodle and then I got carried away. I kinda like getting carried away. I seldom know where it will end up.

Little watercolor horses, they were fun to draw and paint and each seems to have it's own personality. Some look a little too much like a donkey though. lol

A bit on the rough side right now, since I'm just getting started (again) on watercolours. I've never painted this loosely before so this is a big step for me. Maybe I'll try a selfie again in a few months to see how I've progressed.
