Pencil first. Outlined with ultrafine marker. Started in the middle then grew from there. At first look, I did not like it, but it has grown on me after outlining with markers. Still debating colors.

Big-eared Brown Bat (Histiotus macrotus). Hybrid technique (digital enhanced watercolor). This species has large dark ears. The dorsal hairs are strongly bicolored, with black or dark brown bases and yellow tips. Some authors consider that H. macrotus is distributed only in Chile and Argentina. After my high school boyfriend and I broke up, I went to prom with a group of single friends. While I was in the bathroom, I overheard someone saying, "Leah Budin put in no effort at all." Ouch.
