I got flower happy with my paintings; couldn't stop the roll.

Ten days back (April 7th) was my 30th birthday! Been up to my eyeballs in photography projects since then and only just got some breathing space to draw... always good to be back after a break, however big or small.

I like baggy sweaters lately. Its like a big hug.

A bit on the rough side right now, since I'm just getting started (again) on watercolours. I've never painted this loosely before so this is a big step for me. Maybe I'll try a selfie again in a few months to see how I've progressed.

To draw a forest so it's big enough you don't include the tops of the trees or any sky. Just very thick tree-trunks growing absolutely straight. ... In a proper painting of a forest everything is roughly the same colour, the moss, the tree-trunks and the branches of the fir trees, everything is soft and solemn, half-way between grey and brown and green but very little green. In the end I began to feel weak at the knees and then I knew that soon it would be too late, in a few seconds it would be too late, so I let it fall into the gutter and began rolling very quickly and without looking up. I kept my nose just above the top of the stone so that the room I had hidden us in would be as tiny as possible and I heard very clearly how all the cars stopped and were angry but I drew a line between them and me and just went on rolling and rolling. Then Grandfather and Grandmother built a big two-storey house with a sloping roof and lots of rooms and steps and terraces and a huge veranda and placed plain wooden furniture everywhere inside and outside the house and when it was ready Grandfather began to plant things until the field became a Garden of Eden where he walked around in his big black beard. Hey Boos! This is me in kindergarten. I decided to make different eras of my life. Dino Nugget is me in kindergarten (I was misaken for a boy all the time), then there is Princess who is me in 1st and 2nd grade (I was a feral demon in a princess dress what then), then Hoodie Kid (me in 5th and 6th grade), and lastly Bell Bottom who is me in 7th grade (she wont make an appearance until I make a big change in my style cause she's me currently) anyway this is just a little project for fun.

What do you see?

My biggest inspirations are Tim Burton and Johnen Vasquez. It was refreshing to do something like this for a change. I had lots of fun with it.

I've come to learnt of an acronym to help me move forward whenever Fear is holding me back. Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real.

Just did this for a cartoon I'm working on for a book - which is getting big! 160 pages!

I have not drew these kinda characters for a while when 2020 hit. I was a big mlp fan when I was little, but then stopped during 2020 when I got interested in something else like drawing furry characters (like purp kit etc.). But yeah, here it is! anyways, I'll be drawing sum more characters like this sometime :)
