Anoia is an actual Goddess, and not a Patron Saint, but I really wanted to draw her. Anoia is the Goddess of Things That Get Stuck in Drawers, a minor goddess on the Discworld (by Terry Pratchett - and if you don't know who he is, you should read his books! You can start with Small Gods -it is a standalone in the Discworld world. Or Guards! Guards! is another good choice). When someone rattles a drawer and cries "How can it close on the damned thing but not open with it? Who bought this? Do we ever use it?", even though the person might be genuinely irritated or even exasperated, it is as praise unto Anoia. Faithful Anoians (worshippers of Anoia) purposefully rattle their drawers and complain every day. Anoia also finds objects that roll under other objects and things stuck in sofa cushions, and is considering handling stuck zippers. She eats corkscrews. Her name is clearly derived from "annoy". Anoia she was formerly the volcano goddess Lela. I was feeling listless about this inktober until I picked up Daily Rituals : How artists work by Mason Currey. I immediately knew that I want to do these portraits for the inktober. FRANCIS BACON. At the end of these long nights, Bacon frequently demanded that his reeling companions join him at home for one last drink - an effort, it seems, to postpone his nightly battles with insomnia. A lot of my sketchbooks are empty and lacking color. I got more color pencils last christmas and colored one of my characters with almost every color i had.

Recess just got more interesting at Hades Elementary when a new kid starts 2nd grade. The books float, staplers mysteriously attack the bullies, who is this kid and where did they come from?! Yeah......that's all I got. I have had this idea for over a year and just let it sit there. Main Character: Emily New Kid: No clue?!?!?!?!? Sounds like a cheesy manga title lol

Sometimes, I re-read books and they don't have the same impact as before. Sometimes, I re-read them and they hit me harder. Roadside picnic by Brothers Strugatsky made me cry. This is my favorite book by them, although I do so love Monday starts on Saturday. But this book! I wish more people would read it.

Emperor Palpatine - Egg tempera on panel 9x12. This is my 3rd attempt at egg tempera, and I absolutely love the medium. It is a little tricky to get used too, but it is quite flexible ... despite the textbooks on it that are now over 500 years old.

I wanted to do a 3 part project using Bendy. I just love the little devil darlin! I referenced the comic books, put still added my flare to it.

We owe it to ourselves to have happy life, enriched with dignity, respect and peace of mind. We should remember that it means nothing to live without wealth; it means everything to live with dignity. Nobility shows from a distance. It is not offensive to deprive ourselves of wealth; it is offensive to lose our dignity.
