Playing with colored pencils this week. This is very loosely based on a photo....changed hair, eyes, and skin tones to suit my mood. Vintage Conte a Paris Criterium, Prismacolor Verithin, and Tombow Irojiten pencils.
I do all my work with spray paint. I’m pretty new to painting but I really enjoy it. I have a few other pieces up on my Instagram so if you like this one check me out @alex_bowen_
Colored pencil drawing of pomegranates "in progress." Prismacolor and Verithin pencils with some fine lines done with Tombow Irojiten pencils. I like the harder colored pencils for fine detail, but the blending of high wax and oil pencils can't be beat for blending.
Pasha was a beloved German Shorthaired Pointer rescue dog. He came to us a bedraggled youngster and lived to become a "grand old man." This pencil drawing was done as a tribute after he "crossed the rainbow bridge."
Finally finished my tribute to the greatest rockers we lost. A few years ago, I followed a Mooc about game design et so, I created a character named Will, a little spirit able to change his appearance depending of the pumpkin he possess.
So, he could become intangible (the ghost), fly really high (the bat), climb and manipulate object (the cat) and bowl over obstacles (the wolf).
So for last Halloween, I decided to redraw them for a fake video game screen.

Il y a quelques années, j’avais participé à un MOOC sur le game design et j’avais ainsi créé le personnage de Will, un petit esprit capable de changer d’apparence selon les citrouilles qu’il possédait.
Il pouvait ainsi être intangible (le fantôme), voler très haut (la chauve-souris), escalader et manipuler des objets (le chat) et défoncer des obstacles (le loup)
Du coup, pour Halloween, j’ai voulu les redessiner pour un faux écran de jeux vidéos.

This one is very close to my heart.
(HB pencil - 38mm x 20mm) A very small (and yes, those sizes are in millimetres!) example of a dreamscape piece taken from an A6 sketch-booklet I made. I chose this one from it to display here because it turned out so insane.
