After a year of drawing pretty much nothing due to artblock/burnout that came after a few years of battling my mind to be able to draw, this drawing marked me finally being able to return to art this November 2023 with a fresh mindset of less perfectionisim and more focus on my own enjoyment of the process. I had a limited timespan to work on this, a gift for my grandmother's 80th birthday, as I only began the process the day before I needed to email it across. Compared to the months it has typically taken me to finish anything in more recent years, this presented an extra motivation to abandon "perfect" in favour of "good enough". It's not as detailed as some of my prior works, but given the limited timespan and that I'm out of practice I am nonetheless happy with the result. As usual, I combined a graphite and ink drawing with digital colour+shading.

St. John the Baptist

Happy Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist! He who prophesied the Christ in the Womb! Our Church is called St. John the Baptist so it is a particular special feast for us. It was also the name one of the Churches that St. Benedict started. Why? Because St. John the Baptist (along with Elijah and Moses) is a type or model of the Monk. Jesus of course is himself the Ideal Monk to follow, in whom all true monks follow the example of. Of course I'm talking Christian Catholic Monks. St. John the Baptist, Pray for Us!

Bitcoin Recovery Expert To Recover Lost or Stolen Coins: Hire Trace Hackers Crypto Recovery ‪+447355702876‬

Bitcoin Recovery Expert To Recover Lost or Stolen Coins: Hire Trace Hacker's Crypto Recovery ‪+447355702876‬ I never thought I’d be one of those people who fell for a crypto scam, Last year, I invested $268,000 into what I believed was a legitimate trading platform. It looked professional, had active “customer support,” and even showed daily profits on my dashboard.,But the moment I tried to withdraw, everything disappeared — the website, my login, and my money. I was devastated. After weeks of research and countless dead ends, I came across Trace Hacker's Crypto Recovery., From the very first call, they were transparent, professional, and incredibly patient. They explained how blockchain tracing works, what evidence they’d need from me, and what kind of results I could realistically expect. The process took several weeks, but they kept me updated at every step., They tracked the crypto transactions across multiple wallets, worked with legal partners overseas, and managed to recover a significant portion of $258,000 my funds. When I received confirmation that $258,000 had been successfully retrieved and returned to my account, I literally cried. What stood out most was their honesty — no fake guarantees, no empty promises, just expertise, persistence, and results. Trace Hacker's Crypto Recovery didn’t just recover my money; they restored my trust and peace of mind. If you’ve lost money in a crypto scam, don’t give up. HOW TO HIRE A TRUSTED BTC & CRYPTO EXPERT RECOVERING -CONTACT SALVAGE ASSET RECOVERY

On Tuesday I registered for what I believed was a prestigious industry conference through a website recommended in a professional networking group. The page looked flawless with a slick design, a detailed agenda, high profile speakers and polished testimonials. The registration fee was steep at $16,300 but the event’s reputation seemed to justify it.The only odd detail was that payment had to be made exclusively in cryptocurrency, specifically Bitcoin. The site explained this as a secure and efficient way to process international payments. Trusting the recommendation I sent the Bitcoin equivalent of $16,300 to the provided wallet address. Minutes later the transaction showed as confirmed on the blockchain and I received an email with a QR code labeled as my official badge. Everything seemed in order. That confidence shattered a few days later when I contacted the legitimate conference organizers. They had no record of me. The email I had been corresponding with did not match theirs and the wallet address was unrelated. The conference was real but I had fallen victim to a sophisticated clone site. With Bitcoin transactions being irreversible I feared my funds were gone. That is when I contacted Salvage Asset Recovery, a cyber forensics firm known for their expertise in tracing and recovering digital assets. They responded within hours and reassured me that while the scam was sophisticated they had recovered funds from similar cases before. Salvage Asset Recovery began by examining my Bitcoin transaction on the blockchain. They tracked the movement of my payment through multiple wallet hops using advanced blockchain analytics tools to untangle the scammers laundering path. Their work revealed that my funds had ultimately landed in an account at a cryptocurrency exchange.Acting swiftly, Salvage Asset Recovery coordinated directly with the exchange’s fraud department and connected with law enforcement to place an emergency freeze on the account. Their quick intervention was critical as the scammers were only days away from withdrawing the funds. After two tense weeks Salvage Asset Recovery confirmed the full $16,300 in Bitcoin had been recovered and sent back to my wallet. I was stunned. I had gone from certain loss to complete restitution thanks entirely to their precision and urgency. This ordeal taught me a lasting lesson. Always verify payment channels, double check URLs and treat cryptocurrency only requests with caution. Without Salvage Asset Recovery my money would have vanished into the digital ether. They turned what could have been a total disaster into a rare recovery success story. connect with Salvage using the details below Whats app....+1 8 4 7 6 5 4 7 0 9 6 Telegram..... 16592200206

RECOVER FROM CRYPTO AND BITCOIN INVESTMENT SCAM >>> GET EXPERT HELP FROM HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS

As a lifelong Indiana resident, I never thought I would fall victim to a cryptocurrency scam especially not one that would wipe out $30,000 of my hard-earned savings. It all began when I was contacted by a woman named “Sophia” through Facebook. She claimed to be a professional crypto investment advisor based in Manhattan and came across as incredibly knowledgeable and confident. Her profile was convincing, filled with images of high-end offices, client testimonials, and even fake endorsements from celebrities, all crafted to earn my trust. At first, I had always been cautious with my money, but her pitch was persuasive. She promised a “low-risk” investment opportunity with high returns, backed by what appeared to be credible audits and consistent performance reports. I decided to test the waters by investing $200. To my surprise, I was able to withdraw the money with no issues, which made the platform seem trustworthy. Feeling more confident, I went all in. Over the next few weeks, I invested $25,000 into what I believed were Bitcoin and Ethereum transactions through her platform. The dashboard displayed constant growth. My account balance soared, and I felt thrilled watching my so-called earnings increase. It looked like the investment was paying off until things took a turn. To unlock my “profits,” I was asked to send an additional $4,800 to cover something called “gas fees.” Hesitant but eager to access my growing funds, I sent the money. Then, just like that, the platform disappeared. My account was inaccessible, Sophia stopped responding, and I was left with nothing. My savings were gone, and I felt betrayed and ashamed. Just when I thought I had lost everything, I came across HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS, a cyber forensics group specializing in retrieving stolen cryptocurrency. Skeptical but desperate, I contacted them. They used advanced tools like Chainalysis to trace the stolen crypto across blockchain and collaborated with international authorities and exchanges to freeze the assets. Amazingly, just last week, HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS recovered 100% of my lost funds. I was stunned and overjoyed. Thanks to their determination, what I thought was gone forever was returned to me. I learned a painful lesson, but I’m grateful for the second chance. Their contact details are listed below. RELY ON THE BEST: DIGITAL RESOLUTION SERVICES IS YOUR TOP SOLUTION.

I am a developer, and coding is my world. But when it comes to, say, the "life" part of life skills? Not so much. After a grueling 72-hour coding marathon, fueled by nothing but caffeine and questionable decisions, I made a mistake I now regret on a cosmic level: I spilled coffee on my external hard drive, the very drive that stored access to my digital wallet, holding a significant sum. At first, I told myself it wasn't that bad; surely a little splash wouldn't be a big deal, right? With confidence in my tech skills, I turned to the internet for answers. One search result boldly asked: "Can you dry a hard drive in the microwave?" Spoiler alert: absolutely not. Don’t try this under any circumstance. I’m lucky I didn’t end up with melted plastic or worse. After my solo data recovery efforts failed catastrophically, panic set in. This wasn't just lost files, this was years of effort, wiped in a moment. That’s when I found Digital Resolution Services. Desperate and admittedly a bit embarrassed, I reached out, hoping for a miracle. From the moment they answered, I could tell I was in capable hands. The team was calm, professional, and reassuring, never once mocking my questionable DIY methods (which, looking back, I probably deserved). Instead, they got straight to work, applying specialized tools and expertise to my situation. The process wasn’t easy. It involved long nights, constant updates, and a rollercoaster of emotions. But Digital Resolution Services never gave up. They stayed committed, persistent, and focused every step of the way. When they finally restored access to my wallet, I was overwhelmed with relief not just because the funds were safe, but because I could finally sleep without stress. That experience taught me something valuable: sometimes, it’s not about being the expert in everything, it's about knowing when to trust the right ones. Now, I keep my coffee and hard drive far apart. And every time I take a sip of that morning brew, I remember: if your data matters, don’t gamble, reach out to professionals like Digital Resolution Services. Back to painting!

With our adorable Shiba, Kaiju, as my inspiration, I've started working on initial sketches. The next step is to determine the perfect color palette before beginning the actual painting. Though I typically prefer to work with oil paints, it's been a considerable time since I last indulged in painting. So, I've decided to use acrylics this time around. I'm thrilled to start this new painting!

The Carrying of the Cross

Fourth Sorrowful Mystery: The carrying of the cross. So I basically have 5 stations of the cross combined into one. The carrying of the cross (2nd station), When he sees our Blessed Mother (4), Simon of Cyrene forced to help (5), St. Veronica wipes his face (6), he meets the women (8). In between these are the 3 times he fell, the first station of his condemation and then the striping before the final mystery of the Rosary. "And they compelled a passer-by, Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to carry his cross. And they brought him to the place called Golgotha (which means the place of a skull)" (Mk 15:21-22). "By accepting in his human will that the Father's will be done, he accepts his death as redemptive, for 'he himself bore our sins in his body on the tree' (1 Pt 2:24)" (CCC, 612). Our Father, 10 Hail Marys (contemplating the mystery), Glory be to the Father.

The Presentation of the Lord

The 4th Joyful Mystery, the Presentation of Jesus. I put Joseph up front because he had a very important part not only in the Circumsision of Jesus after 8 days but also the Presentation of Jesus after 40 days. In fact the Fathers are the ones who offer the sacrifice in private (with other jewish priests etc.) in order to "Redeem" the child. Hence one of Saint Joseph's titles: "The Redeemer of the Redeemer". He also has the unique title of the "Savior of the Savior" because in the flight to Egypt after this event Joseph saved Jesus from the hands of Herod. Oh and I got to see the tomb of Saint Simeon! It's in Zadok and we got to see his body, he still had flesh but his beard had fallen out (poor guy, lol). He was a very holy man, I could feel the graces there. ^_^ St. Simeon and St. Anna the Prophetess, pray for us! Luke 2: 22-39 22 And after the days of her purification, according to the law of Moses, were accomplished, they carried him (Jesus) to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord: 23 As it is written in the law of the Lord: Every male opening the womb shall be called holy to the Lord: 24 And to offer a sacrifice, according as it is written in the law of the Lord, a pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons: 25 And behold there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Ghost was in him. 26 And he had received an answer from the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Christ of the Lord. 27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when his parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the law, 28 He also took him into his arms, and blessed God, and said: 29 Now thou dost dismiss thy servant, O Lord, according to thy word in peace; 30 Because my eyes have seen thy salvation, 31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all peoples: 32 A light to the revelation of the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. 33 And his father and mother were wondering at those things which were spoken concerning him. 34 And Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary his mother: Behold this child is set for the fall, and for the resurrection of many in Israel, and for a sign which shall be contradicted; 35 And thy own soul a sword shall pierce, that, out of many hearts, thoughts may be revealed. 36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser; she was far advanced in years, and had lived with her husband seven years from her virginity. 37 And she was a widow until fourscore and four years; who departed not from the temple, by fastings and prayers serving night and day. 38 Now she, at the same hour, coming in, confessed o the Lord; and spoke of him to all that looked for the redemption of Israel. 39 And after they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their city Nazareth
