The Ford Taurus was the most boring car I could think of. This selection of doodles are all just ink on paper, applied with a brush. The black circle behind the cats was Sharpie. I had a design back there, decided I super-hated-it, and then screwed the whole thing up. Ah well. The cats are still okay.

I've started a new sketch book (one of many, lol), which I am dedicating to ink drawings only. No pencils, no watercolours, just pen and ink :) I drew this doodle today with a Uniball pen and a light ink wash for the space sky. No reference, totally made up. Mistakes and all! I saw on the Samantha Bee show that there's an association between vintage cartoons and minstrelsy, and I can't stop thinking about it now. So I drew some mean looking white person mice in retaliation. These are your suburb mice that are complaining that the Whole Foods line is taking too long.
This is a new series of contemporary paper collages realised using a mix and match of new and vintage paper.
I used:
• Vintage paper ephemera (old postcards, paper cuts, portraits)
• Recycled paper from envelopes
• Brand new paper cuts
• For the decorations I mostly used marker pens, stickers and washi tape.
