Here's a traditional art sketch card, produced on a 4 X 5 inch blank licensed card. The cut lines are set at 2.5 X 2.3 standard trading card size. Artwork is Copic marker and Prismacolor colored pencil. This card was created as a random insert for the 2018 Rittenhouse Archives Star Trek Captains collection Card series. The other day I saw pictures of a Russian gala beginning of the 1900. The royalty was wearing extravagant beautiful clothing and they inspired this piece. Due to the card stock used and the subject I also decided to not use color but leave it at black, white and dark Grey. I would love feedback as I adore how it turned out. Is essence this to me was partially a study on the fashion of Russia in the 1900 as well as a chance to play around with 'colored' paper and how to use black and white to make most of what I had with me. I hope to make another piece like this again in the future, hopefully have it perhaps even more extravagant. This piece was made using. Well friends just got done creating my new logo to represent my ministry. The design incorporates symbols that represent both writing poetry, commentaries, short humorous stories. This is represented by the quill pen. My fine art, commercial art represented by the painter's palette, and illustrative tools. The colors running to the center of the palette to from the cross, represent my Christian ministry. Going to FedExs to have business cards made. Planning to use this logo for my art fair booth

Did these as thank yous for my son’s preschool teachers. They loved them and I had fun making them.

This is my illustration of the Mad Hatter, based on the Tim Burton interpretation; it was created for a recent blog post. Everything was drawn by hand on white cardstock, using illustration pens, except for the background (which was created by scanning a specific craft paper pattern). This is a 6x9 mixed media page in a sketchbook that is dedicated to Halloween cats. I scan these pages and then do 4x6 prints and mail them to my mom. Usually a draw a daily cat and mail it but mom’s memory is going so sending her print postcards of the Halloween cards ensures she doesn’t lose an original. I’ll go back to the original kitties next month.

This is part of a series of postcards that I have been creating to mail to my mom everyday. She is in assisted living about 3 hours away so I can’t see her every day. I mail her the postcards to give her something to look forward to.

Last year I made many of these cards to sell at my shop. They are each monoprinted, so they are all different. Then I used a stamp I carved and doodled while watching binging on Criminal Minds.

I was feeling really sad and scared, and the weight of the world's crisis weighed heavy on me, so I wanted to paint something lovely and bright. Acrylic on Kraft cardstock

Lately, I have been focusing on making art cards so that my work is more accessible to anyone who is interested but doesn't want to invest in a large original piece for their collection.
