Beneath the wonderful realms of expression compose a vibrancy in relaxed waves into the dreams of limbs that enchant the viewers. Ability to portray kingdom of soothing pleasantness, yet a loud inspirational spirit that seems to flow within us all. By these imprints on eyes to the mind, what does one see here?
The observational sketch was done in ink. One of my few urban sketches. The grandeur of the entire cathedral was too large for me to capture in my drawing but here's a little of what I did.
I've been re-reading the Harry Potter Series, and now am on a quest to do a small illustration for each of the books. This one is from "The Sorcerer's Stone" and features Mrs. Norris, my favorite evil cat.
In wanting to get active with my fellow doodler community, I wanted to stop in and introduce myself. My name is Dalton Stark, I live in Texas, and i'm a doodle addict, and an advocate for the possibility of anything. For me, doodling is my purest state of being human. My sketchbooks are a very sacred place for me to practice this expressive and arcane form of imagination meditation, which I'm always trying to find more excuses to spend more time in. It is to me, all about intuition, making discoveries, surprising yourself, having fun and maybe even making yourself and others smile or laugh sometimes. Gentleman Cat was modelled on a victorian oil painting with a special family cat as the star of the show! Part of a pair for a special Christmas present.
I had some leftover watercolor on my palette and added it to some old sketches. This is the Fabriano sketchbook with the red cover. I keep finding it on sale at hobby lobby. It's perfect for using on a plane, or just in general.
Every year my uncle asks for hand-made gifts about his "awesomeness". I whipped up a quick homage to our family tradition of playing super complicated games that inevitably end up in rule debates and many beers/wine. :)

Just a watercolor sketch I did of my cup on my desk at work, which was handmade and purchased from a farmer’s market. I have a little cat that sits on it that I got from a gachapon machine at a sushi restaurant.
Beer Label design incorporating lots of local facts/things to do with the area it's brewed in. Sailing, windsurfing, big lake, spitfire plane, invading shrimps, highland cattle, sunken church, snakes, beer swilling octopus (ok I made that one up).
