Here's the original description for the submission: Future you calling is a group that mixes electronic pop and rock with some vintage and retro vibes thrown in the mix. To Whom It May Concern is their newest album. It's like that strange record that you once found on the slightly shady flea market that closed down after one month. You wish you had bought it back then, so now is your chance to repair the damage and get this album instead. It's almost the same. We promise. (Future you calling is an invented band. I'm not musically skilled enough to make the band reality but I can always imagine how their albums would look like if existed. Something I’ve been working on for fun, a project from illustrator Victor Beuren’s Domestika class “Search-And-Find Illustration in Procreate”. One of the rare Singapore-inspired artworks I’ve done, and I don’t think I’ve ever drawn so many human beings in one piece… but challenge accepted!!!

Drawing water with reflections was a new challenge for me.
I decided to use a less saturated color palette. It looks like a foggy atmosphere around the forest. Something different
I love hilly landscapes. But I'm not good at drawing them. The one thing that I should do is practice. I have to take a sketchbook and draw/paint 100 mountains.
The trees also could be better. I failed by drawing details on this illustration.

It's a bit wintery, snowy, and magical.
I love the background texture. But I still need to work on the details.
Recently, I discovered the miraculous power of gouache. I ordered paints a few days ago (still waiting for the shipment). That's why there are only digital versions for now.
I have already purchased a course on the Domestika platform. I'm going to try my skills at traditional painting on paper. It will be a big challenge. Fortunately, I have a great teacher :) Thanks, Ruth Wilshaw, for your Domestika course and daily inspiration to create!

In real it's a meteor shower. But our imagination allows us to create fantastic images.
I love stars. I love landscapes. So it's a final illustration of these both with a fine whimsy touch :)

Pushing yourself to the next level is a great experience. I did it today by drawing this illustration.
It's what happened to me:
- I created effects I've never done before,
- my creativity reached its new highs,
- I developed new painting skills,
- I'm still feeling amazing.
Day 4 of #whimsicalByMamaminia art challenge.
I have been attempting for some time to accomplish the 100 heads challenge, its been a slow process but my goal is 4 poses from 25 characters from some of my favorite movies and t.v. Series. Ive enjoyed this project so far and have noticed its pushed me to work on some much needed improvement on drawing heads in general.
A Bob Ross inspired painting, for the Digital Painting Studio challenge, I know composition is a bit off, but I'm still pretty satisfied with the end result, and sometimes, you just have to let go of the image and work on something else...
