My name is Jenny Lebedev. I am a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator, Making painting on canvas and digital platform, video, photography, drawing. Graduate of the Department of Multidisciplinary Art at Shenkar. I recently finished illustrating the second children's book. I also accept commission projects and work with the client in close communication. I make digital art work for postcards, prints, incl. producing prints. In the field of art I deal with conceptual art on the topics of "nothingness" and the existing emptiness, awareness of the air. When I was a little girl I was drawing postcards and during holidays I was selling them to the neighbors for half a shekel. At home my family always appreciated my creativity. Because of this when I moved to Israel, I decided on an art degree where I had the freedom to try different kinds of art. I became a painter and my final exhibition at Shenkar College was a plumbing work with sculpture and dio. Nowadays I am more involved in digital painting and specializing mainly in illustration and design. I take my inspiration from nature because it has an amazing integrity. But of course a simple emphasis will make most people notice it better.

To help pass time and keep my creativity at the front of my brain, I keep a half sheet handy and challenge myself to fill the page with lines, shapes and shadows before the shift is over. Never a theme planned I let the pen take me on its own adventure. I’m just a passenger.

An abstract manifestation of my mind undergoing an "unblocking" to recover the spring of creativity. Putting it in more concrete and psychological terms, a projection of illegible thought processess that free mental binds that have been plagueing my mind for the past year or two.

The Tool Bench marks my 50th canvas—completed exactly one year to the day after I finished my very first one. This piece is a tribute to work, memory, and the quiet corners where both creativity and responsibility live. Drawn entirely freehand, it’s built like a snapshot of a lived-in workspace: mismatched tools, worn wood, scribbled reminders, and the little personal things that actually make a place yours. The clipboard holds a “Honey-Do” list that never seems to end. The Polaroid-style sketch of my wife sits taped to the wall like a reminder of why the work matters. The shadows on the back wall match the tools lying on the bench—suggesting a moment in progress, a task paused, life happening between motions.

Another version of lantern illustration. I wanted to redraw the last illustration. But I changed the concept while drawing. It's a beauty of creativity - it can surprise. The most important thing here is that I feel so happy when I draw illustrations in this style

Wake up your creativity! Take a piece of paper, something to write on, and draw a few lines/circles/squiggles. Then more and more, and so on... Let your imagination run wild. You can create something beautiful out of nothing.

I found my passion for painting and creativity again after fighting depression for years. To celebrate, I painted a portrait. I don't look super happy in this portrait but trust I'm super happy- it represents that I'm going through a process and it takes time! lol

Education system kills creativity...

I have a certain energy that runs through me, almost like a current. Balancing this energy can be quite a challenge, but I have found that meditation helps me to find my center. I like to quiet the noise around me and focus on my inner truth. Sometimes, I begin my meditation with my eyes closed, allowing my emotions to guide me in sketching out my experiences. This helps me to open up my channels of creativity, which I am currently using to work on my upcoming novel. I can't reveal too much about it yet, but I hope you will enjoy the sneak peeks I'll be sharing as I work toward completion.

I drew this illustration without any expectations. It's not perfect, but I'm happy I created it. And I share it. Perfectionism destroys your creativity and productivity!

Mommy tree and her daughter. I hope they'll always be close to each other. Pushing yourself to the next level is a great experience. I did it today by drawing this illustration. It's what happened to me: - I created effects I've never done before, - my creativity reached its new highs, - I developed new painting skills, - I'm still feeling amazing. Sometimes it takes a bit of boredom to spark some creativity!

I like to use my creativity to restoring life back into old furniture heading to the tip or for cheap in charity shops. Less waste for the planet to cope with.

In such instances, inspiration shows their other, insidious nature, about which little is spoken. Inspiration will, for example, propel artist - as the devil sinning soul - to constantly create, to eat is not thought, to be many nights sleepless, his sexual life can suffer, etc. Striking inspiration, such as a comet in the head, can, in some cases, result in a straitjacket, even death. We Assheads know that it is not wise to give advice to the artist struck by inspiration, warn him that there are still other joy and values in life. His inspiration closed his ears, he works with him as with a toy, so the artist could retaliate with aggression, considering that his personal freedom was compromised. I took inspiration from a group of artists who created a similar image but I decided to place my own spin on it by having henna like designs across the hands.
