This was my first sumi ink artwork I made for my introduction to art class a few years ago. I used a bamboo reed pen to make this design. It depicts a puppet cutting the strings and liberating herself! I hope you like my artwork!

I've been experimenting with colour pallets and line width. Also trying to do LESS - my natural tendency is to add everything so cutting back is quite hard, but I think works better.
The friendly squish-walrus never means to squish things, but his permanently outstretched arms and difficulty slowing down once he’s gained momentum means that anything in his path is pretty much screwed. Most squish-ees forgive him easily though, because he’s just so darn nice.
