Doodling my faces, this time on a piece of wood from a pallet. Re-cycling! Used watercolors and colored pencils, Carved out some spots to add dimension.
Rainy days = a perfect excuse for a shedload of coffee and drawing to indulge in. :)
Occurs to me I did one with the title “Laurel Weaver” close to four years ago. Not much else connects the two beyond the title or does it? I don’t know...
Whatever the case, I fancied recycling and revisiting this idea somehow. Enjoy!

A lot of Dutch families who live in the centre have a bakfiets or cargo bike to transport everyone around. This is an old one that relies on peddle power but thank god for electric motors now. From my series Bikes of Amsterdam.
It's stormy and super windy here in Amsterdam today. Wind so strong it's knocked down trees and can make you ride backwards or lift you right off your bike.
The Dutch are experts at riding one handed while holding an umbrella or snack in the other hand. Although a good set of rain pants is much safer. From my Bikes of Amsterdam series.
