Hey, This is my very first post here. Dentistry is what I enjoy doing the most so here's a doodle dedicated to my profession

A piece I did today of my Original Character.

Needle felted baby tapir. Love those spots and stripes!

I used brush pen and watercolors. The most challenging part was holding back on excessive pen lines to render the fur, using patches of paint instead. Although I think the background is a bit dark and there a few mistakes, I feel that learned from this.

Another attempt to paint my beloved cat Irida.

After Inktober I thought I’d try out a daily logo challenge “Logovember” which isn’t easy with the holidays happening . Here is one of the ideas. Each design started with a simple doodle that I then created in Adobe Illustrator.

Here is a watercolor piece I made so I can relax, have fun with textures and my gold ink. It is meant to illustrate how those olive tree leaves shimer in the light of day.

Hey everyone, sorry for such a long hiatus! The main reason is that I haven't been drawing so I had nothing to post. I also went through a name change, from BurningCinders to Umbra! For this piece, I played around with some new brushes and attempted to play with fog for the first time.

That time when King Robert visited Winterfell to see his old friend Ned Stark. The word ‘husky’ according to dictionary.com means ‘big and strong; burly’ which Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark are! And I couldn’t help but put a direwolf in there, which can sometimes be mistaken for a husky!

The National-About Today

The other day I saw pictures of a Russian gala beginning of the 1900. The royalty was wearing extravagant beautiful clothing and they inspired this piece. Due to the card stock used and the subject I also decided to not use color but leave it at black, white and dark Grey. I would love feedback as I adore how it turned out. Is essence this to me was partially a study on the fashion of Russia in the 1900 as well as a chance to play around with 'colored' paper and how to use black and white to make most of what I had with me. I hope to make another piece like this again in the future, hopefully have it perhaps even more extravagant. This piece was made using. Kicking off Inktober with some creepiness for the prompt "Ring". I never do this all the way through but maybe this year is the year.

Had this fricken' idea today...

Life has been BUSY! Managed to get in a bit of practice today, slowly getting better at facial proportions which has been a real struggle for me. My next challenge is trying to find a pencil sharpener big enough for this Lyra Color Giant pencil I have been using :D
