Artists from the planet Earth believe that inspiration is an inner energy that gives them ideas, mental power which strengthens the will to create a new work. We Assheads from the World of Fantasy, we know that inspiration is a living being that manages the actions of artists, states them to actions that normal man would not do. We consider the coming of inspiration - to a reasonable extent - good for creativity, but if the inspiration gets us in a firm hug and does not give up, it can have a devastating impact on the individual. In such instances, inspiration shows their other, insidious nature, about which little is spoken. Inspiration will, for example, propel artist - as the devil sinning soul - to constantly create, to eat is not thought, to be many nights sleepless, his sexual life can suffer, etc. Striking inspiration, such as a comet in the head, can, in some cases, result in a straitjacket, even death. We Assheads know that it is not wise to give advice to the artist struck by inspiration, warn him that there are still other joy and values in life. I haven’t been that active here so, rather than waiting a day to post each of my new works, I’m going to just stick with my latest. And this isn’t exactly an oc, but I could draw him again in the future. I also don’t have a name for him yet, so you can write a suggestion in the comments. I drew this since I’m kinda facing a dilemma and sketching helps me clear my mind and think.

Got some time to do a little bit of doodling today, an hour well spent!

Inspired by the symbolism of the cherry blossom flower, which represents beauty and strength, as well as the expression, “Life, Death, and Renewal”, this piece completely embodies this expression, reflecting on the harmonious balance between human and nature. Each unique detail, from the soft elegance of the cherry blossoms, the chaotic nature of the setting, followed by the expression of complete calmness of her delicate features, helps portray the turmoils she once faced, and how she overcame her fears and saw her true beauty.

A dark image that reflects in witness that does not need to be said, understood beneath the horrid reflections for which various creatures through time, present, in future sorrows, harmed to nightmares or death, fractured eyes that seep lands familiar, but rarely be spoken. An image of harsh reality.

In with disease, a focus in depression, a fear in death, departure along with tundra moon follows. Unveil whisper to engage these thoughts down the darkness. A vessel alone, not kin to wish a farewell nor goodbye. He died alone.

Darkness filled with suicidal motions, a death of a little girl, tears in poverty, and madness further. What shivers await? Alien life forms compose a last symphony.

This was a final assignment for my most recent figure drawing class. There's some things I'll probably play around with but for now I'm definitely ready to set it aside for a bit. Time: 8 hrs Medium: Procreate on iPad.

Patternz - series 2 - May 2018

Working on a tattoo for myself that's based on the Disney Magic Kingdom's Haunted Mansion. The Tightrope Girl is part of the expanding elevator in the beginning of the ride. I changed the shape of the original painting to a coffin; simplified everything down; and added some flourishing. I'm not great at flourishing yet.

One of my high school friends went on a family trip and returned to find his girlfriend obsessed with a dead bird. She had found it, extensively photographed it, and kept it in a box. He broke up with her. I cannot, for the life of me, get over this story, even though it happened almost 20 years ago. I want to hunt this girl down and ask her approximately one million questions.
