I made this as a reminder for myself. My past and my environment might hurt me, but inside I am safe, I am enough, I am okay, I am minee. I'm experiencing hard times with trauma and other stuff, so I needed a reminder for myself. This is on my door now. I covered up some personal details, the white blobs. March 2020. Pastel on paper.

This is my latest project as of March 15th. It was a request from my cousin. It is based off his original photograph. As you can see, i’m just putting the base shade on it. I’ll have to add the details of the fur after the shading is dark enough

I'm happy to have finished this illustration. It took me a lot longer than I expected. I couldn’t help but add more and more details to the point that sometimes I lost my motivation to finish it, but i did it. :D

This acrylic painting was developed from a spectacular photo that was gifted to me. As usually, I had to make some changes. The head was looking away. I created a model for what I needed and filled in details from research.

This painting was developed from a photo shoot at Presquile Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. The bobcats were designed and posed by myself. The details of the fur were from research.

A 3 format, mixed technique. "My dissatisfaction with my progress in magic is growing," I said to the wizard Cirilo Bum, "I want to quickly become a wizard and not stagnate in the place." "Every creature, so the wizards, have their own way, and always travel, even if they stand in place," the old wizard answered. Then make a quick gesture by hand, a piece of paper was created in his hand. Give me the paper and say: "This is your way, the way you will have to pass before you feel the pleasure of becoming a wizard. When you get to the green path, you've almost succeeded." This paper, the picture you are watching, was a weak attempt by Cirilo Bum - one in a row - to express his artistic side. - If there is a magic spell or magic process in the picture, it would be good - I mumbled sullenly - what is this drawing at all? - The drawing contains all the answers. You have to start thinking with your head, think a lot, if you want to become a wizard - sighs Chirilo Bum - You are on one of the yellow points. The picture shows two tracks, each you need to cross. Paper, namely drawing, is a world of magic and witchcraft. The world of witchcraft, then, touches on the real, material world. I was studying the picture for a while and all I've concluded is that the green trail is not connected to another path. "There is an error here, it is impossible to reach the green path," I said to the wizard. - The only one who learns and understands the material world in which he lives is advancing in every sense - answer me the wizard Čirilo Bum - if your ground is firmly under your feet, it is easier to climb the path of witchcraft. Final drawing 6 of 6. Here I fine tuned the piece. Spent some time on the shirt and wrinkles. Added little details like moles and neck creases. Finished up areas of shading. I had a heck of a time on his right eye. It’s the one area I couldn’t get quite to my liking but it is what it is. Overall, I like how this came out.

Progression 5 of 6. At this point his face is nearly done and I’ve begun to fill in the shirt. There is still more shading and fine tuning and details needed on to finish off his face, but at this point in a drawing I like to begin filling in the other details to keep some cohesion to the overall piece.

Unai Emery. Arsenal Football Club Manager. I think I could have put another hour or so into this and worked the finer details, but overall happy with how it turned out.

Whew!!! About 50 hours of work split evenly over line work and color. I think it’s finished ( famous last words)! I’ll check on it again in a few days for any final details... and get some good camera shots instead of phone camera. .... but I’m happy!

This has been such a joy to draw. I love the simplicity of the face with more details in the back. And how can you not love Sphynx cats

Details of my large forest drawing

This is my second shot at a full page floral abstract. “Trippy Forest” is my extra-colorful one, but this one is focused on details done in red, blue, black.

I intended to do quick little spot illustrations for Inktober this year, but nooooooo! Now Jimmy is drowning in digital ink and lots of doodle details. This was way too much fun to go simple. I also included the original sketch this time.

India ink on tissue paper. I had never used ink on this kind of paper before; I really liked the results! There are some folds and wrinkles on the paper that give the pattern some interesting details. The paper is also super absorbing, which plays nicely with the quantities of ink. Since it's very thin, there can easily be overlays between textures. And finally, when trying to use less ink (so that it wouldn't seep through and cause a big dot - the absorbing quality is nice, but it was also somewhat of a challenge!) I used very little ink on the lettering, causing a scratchy, dry look.

Sometimes I like to challenge myself and draw something completely different and full of details.... this was a bit tedious :) but I am glad I did this, it was a great workout for the brain!

Soon I will have more details about it, until then take care, this runner is taking a real shape and it's after you.
