It was really interesting to work with depth and hair in this one! This art was made on Xp-Pen Deco Pro tablet. Can't recommend it enough, really solid product!
I'm happy to have finished this illustration. It took me a lot longer than I expected. I couldn’t help but add more and more details to the point that sometimes I lost my motivation to finish it, but i did it. :D
I intended to do quick little spot illustrations for Inktober this year, but nooooooo! Now Jimmy is drowning in digital ink and lots of doodle details. This was way too much fun to go simple. I also included the original sketch this time.
I have been participating in Lauren Hom’s #HOMwork challenges via Instagram. This weeks challenge was to draw the same letter 16 ways. I drew cats instead. I may come back to the whole lettering thing at some point!
I have been drawing digitally quite a bit lately. This otter is one of the first drawings I did that made me realize how right it felt. I wasn't sure if I would love it as much as traditional supplies but it turns out that I do. It will never replace a brush for me, but I belie they can co exist in my life nicely.
