You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. //There are 6 Sundays leading up to Good Friday. In observation of Lent, I will be posting 6 works inspired by the theme. This is for the 4th Sunday of Lent.

I love the background texture. But I still need to work on the details.
Recently, I discovered the miraculous power of gouache. I ordered paints a few days ago (still waiting for the shipment). That's why there are only digital versions for now.
I have already purchased a course on the Domestika platform. I'm going to try my skills at traditional painting on paper. It will be a big challenge. Fortunately, I have a great teacher :) Thanks, Ruth Wilshaw, for your Domestika course and daily inspiration to create!
Day 6 of #whimsicalByMamaminia art challenge.
Inspired by Ruth Wilshaw and her book "Creative Gouache" I tried to get a gouache effect in my digital illustration. I think I did it. I'm nicely surprised with the final look.
That's why experimenting is so astonishing.
