I was gifted a pad of Yupo watercolor paper. The color vibrancy is unreal! Definitely a learning curb but the results are so fun. Plus this got me painting again. Working digital is such an easy fall back, but nothing beats a brush to paper.
Annette Hanshaw, look her up. She is wonderful!!! Now, I think some people think I'm tryna be rude doing this whole Joker-esque vibe, PLEASE, I'm not. I like and respect Joker (mainly the Mark Hamill one). The music that Annette Hanshaw sings is one that takes me back to a time where we get that nice old soul of old timey goodness, which is what Mr Mark Hamill's portrayal of the Joker made me think of. So, making an older photo of Annette Hanshaw look like the Joker form DC comics, to me, is a cool thing. Yes, I didn't draw the entire thing, this is just me drawing over the picture. just randomly thought of it and drew it,it doesn't like to be touched it also floats away whenever there's a disturbance (it hates loud noises,people in general)when there's danger it's true form is revealed (not cute or innocent looking anymore),scaring or possibly hurting whoever wanted to hurt this small monster thing in the first place.I might draw it again soon.
I had an idea to create illustrations of fruit set in autumn 2017, and have been working on the realization of this idea throughout February/March 2018. In all, I have created 11 illustrations: apple, apricot, banana, cherry, grape, lemon, orange, pear, plum, tomato, watermelon. Using rapidograph to form the shape, I am coloring my works digitally in Adobe Photoshop. Here is an apple!
Day 1: yourself. This is my personal project #DoodleWithRin365 that I am working now. It is a journey of self development in creativity and encourage myself to explore as many things as possible. I have focused a lot in detailed architecture last 2 years and really enjoyed those crazy detail lines. This year, I would like to explore something different. In this project, I decide on those themes by myself which will be included things I like and also things that I have never tried before but would like to know more. Back to my works here, I used Pilot new brush pen to completed the outline on my sketchbook and the wording with tablet. For second version, I used my real lipstick for lips :)
