From post-it note to canvas. Quarantine life has got me taking some of my old doodles and turning them into paintings.

Finally some competition for my post-it note plants series :) These doodles were in response to last week’s weekly drawing prompt. Say cheese!

My 9 year old Boston Terrier, Annabelle is a bright light in my life and she shows up in my work often. Best Christmas gift EVER!!!

I've been mailing these quick, improvised, hand-drawn doodled envelopes out to random Instagram followers. I'll be doing more of them so follow me @doodlers and let's be friends.

Morning doodle. It's hard to get anything else when doodling is near the top of the list. Not that I'm complaining. ;)

What do you do with a notebook planner that you never used and is about to expire? Doodle in its calendar squares of course.

I wanted to cover up a crappy scribble that was on this page, so I just covered it in black and used a white ink pen to doodle over it

T E X T U R E

I have been participating in Lauren Hom’s #HOMwork challenges via Instagram. This weeks challenge was to draw the same letter 16 ways. I drew cats instead. I may come back to the whole lettering thing at some point!

Had an event near a river and there were plenty huge leaves on the ground.

Ok maybe a couple of mornings.

My final entry for Stage 3 of the doodle addicts challenge! I have loved doing these challenges. They have not only got me drawing things I wouldn't have considered off my own back, but they have brought me out of my comfort zone too. Drawing steam is harder than I thought!!!

I'm going to try to remember Throw Back Thursday. It's fun for me to go back and try to remember what was going on in my mind that made me doodle what I doodled on that day.

Went to see Billy Strings Band live in Philly. Music inspires me so much. Although you might not like bluegrass, it's worth checking these guys out. Great jamming, musicians and show. Anyway even if you hate bluegrass, I hope you like the art that came out of it. I also included the original sketch/doodle. Enjoy. BTW: the song is "While I'm Waiting Here".

I think I’m becoming obsessed with the whole rabbit hole thing.

On one of these #quarantine walks ... ;) sketchbook, coffee marks, ink and colour pencils and my favorite trees.

For any of you missing the outdoors: Picture yourself sitting on the edge of the lake, dipping your toes in the cool water. Feel the wind whisk around you as the sun goes down. You can hear the birds chirping as they settle in for the night. And if you listen close enough, you can hear the old pines whispering tales and stories of the forest long ago. :)
