Lindsey's prompt: Banner

Maybe I'll be mature enough one day to handle that sentence.

An exercise in observation - quick sketch. I was told that if I made a drawing a day for 365 days, that in a year, I might have a couple nice drawings.

The mall is busy. Kids are shopping. I am hiding in a chair, drawing a chair.

Just a little something to catch her attention.

You know...them meddling kids.

"How could I ever love you." -Nox- Ladies and gents here is Nox my new son. He is the dark prince in the universe with Chump. Nox is latin for night.

I have done some work to his ears. All I could think about when trying to go to sleep. Here is the outline. Next step....working on color schemes!

This was my first time using prismacolors! :)

Extremely useful around the house, but doomed to constant despair, the Kitchenware Octopus loves to cook but has no free hands for carrying groceries. The last of her kind, she yearns for a mate to lovingly entangle ladles with, but has yet to meet anyone willing to risk constant proximity to the cheese grater.

So after I did the pencil shading on my little cartoon fairy and bug, I added in some color with colored pencil. I surprised myself with the result.
