Overlaying patterns. Organic vs geometric.

Flipping the script by starting to layer patterns on top of patterns.

Annuals are encouraged to seed in the less formal beds in our large garden. We tend them, photograph them, and I draw and paint them. This is a colored pencil (Prismacolor) drawing of one of our seedling poppies. It was an odd form. Not exactly a single, nor a double and lacked the common cross markings in the throat.

Did you know that Respect was created by Otis Redding and it was about him complaining about his wife? Ironic how it become a hit only with Aretha and not just that but one of the flags for feminism of its time and probably still today. Respect indeed.

I played around with stylized head shapes and facial features by using a col-erase pencil to draw the basic structure, and then adding detail to it.

Hi there, I wanted to uploade this art work as the quarantine quarter submission.. But due to my harsh luck the time was out...and I was late by 2-3mins...I was extremely sad about it but then thought to upload it on my profile only...so this is basically a drawing of me and my family enjoying time in this quarantine period :) and please please please tell any kind of lack in my this drawing... Study of plants, flowers and hands

So I did one of these with a couple of friends over on dA, where we each sketch something then ink the lines of someone else, and digitally colour the third, and as they both chose to draw their characters I scrapped the squid-creature idea to jump on the bandwagon as well! I need no excuses to draw Verus

A friend is on a mission to raise money to help donkeys that are being abused in Spain. She had a photograph taken of her with one of the donkeys and I sketched this drawing from that photograph.
