Richard Dixon. Richard and his brother Asher (and Mitchel, if you count his little brother) live with their two very well-off parents. While his mother works as a surgeon, his father works with animatronics. While Richard looks up to his dad, and loves to work on his own machines, Asher looks up to his mother, and is hoping to one day work in the medical field. While Richard and Asher are around the same age (15), Mitchel is eleven. He wears really big glasses because of his vision, which amplifies his adorability. Will post more of these guys in the future.
Painted original (watercolor on watercolor canvas) about 15 years ago. Wasn't satisfied and so I put away forever. Except, not forever. Have started a project of revamping old paintings that were not quite right, and that now seem salvageable. This was the first. Worked on it for a few minutes a few days a week for a few months, never going too far. Goal was to improve not recreate. Kinda having fun with this new project. Artists tend to do this, take a new tact, find a new route.
A pair of skeletons, dressed in formal attire, are engaged in a lively dance, with the phrase "RATTLE MY BONES" beneath them. The female skeleton wears a long dress adorned with flowers, while the male skeleton sports a suit and hat. a cute and whimsical Halloween illustration.
Wanted a fantasy comp but with a unique color palette and a modern subject. I also wanted the foreground to appear as a very distinct layer hoping the landscape appears downhill to the viewer. I used Barad-dûr as inspiration for the castle ruins.

I just finished my very first book illustration gig. It was a ton of work and the client is really happy! Just a few years ago I never would have dreamed I'd illustrate a book. Yay me!
Aside from Elizabeth, Preistor is the only other animatronic created in the version 3 style --- and he isn't even finished. He's missing his outer legs and arms, and fingers, and his rabbit ears. For now, he sits in Jester's workshop --- abandoned, like all the others. Drawn with FireAlpaca.
Unfortunately, I broke up and separated with my girlfriend prior to Christmas. If there is an upside, it is that moving by myself has led me going through old work I’d packed up in various boxes - not opened for years. This is just an abstract biro doodle (+ markers for colour) I doodled, while working in a stupid telephone interview job in my early 20s.
I really hate to draw noses. For me it's always the starting point to mess up a face. As I left out facial features in most of my drawings... I have to start facing my fears.
I graduated from school with a degree in Bachelor of Science is what my teachers told me is a good enough degree to get hired in the art world but I don't know what in the art world I want to do. It took me six-years to get a four-year degree and eight years after graduating from high-school to figure out what I want to do with my life. I want to be a freelance artist creating my own work and doing commissions for others but even with my degree the level that I am at now is not good enough to sell neither am I at the level I want to be at. So.... I am taking the rest of my twenties to get at that level starting at ground zero and learning the basics from this website I found www.drawabox.com. This image is one of the exercises I'm doing. Another cat that isn't quite a cat. This one has evolved over billions of years to be able to live underwater, just to be able to hunt their favorite fish better, and more often.
This is a pumpkin design I carved for the 2015 Chads Ford Pa. Historical Society's Great Pumpkin Carve.
This years design was a upright dove with out stretched wing, and it's bottom portion becomes an upside down bat with it's wing outstretched . I entitled it Peace And Terror. It represents the two realities most countries around the world are experiencing at this time.
This year I thank God for helping me discover the most effective tools and carving method that has finally made me a expert pumpkin carver competitor.
I have carved three pumpkin this year, and each one get better then the last.
I have been in the past used the hammer and chisel method with wood carving tools. My new tools are clay sculpting tools using the shaving method.
This design took me about 7 hour straight to complete . I did not get to chose or see the pumpkin I would be carving until the day of the competition. The carve is a live event,meaning you cannot bring a pre- marked or carved pumpkin to the event.
This year I believe there were about 75 pumpkin artist who participated in the event.

this drawing influence by the 1994 movie Twenty-five years later, it is widely considered one of the best documentaries ever made.The three-hour film, which follows two black teenagers in their wearied quest to make it to the NBA.
I grew up drawing and illustrating, but 20+ years later, it hit me with force. I haven't looked back since. These are the first two practice sketches I made when I decided finally that I want to be an artist.
Okay, try not to focus on those ears... Try to appreciate the nice background and even the dragonflies flying around. Anything. But. The ears.
But, my gosh, how adorable! Look at the way he wiggles his ears! How adorable! Isn’t it illegal to be this cute? It makes you want to pick it up and hug it to bits!
My first foray into oil paints in 2017. This one is inspired by the view from the mountain pass (a road featured several times on Top Gear). Being new to the medium, I had a lot to learn about how it worked. I'm still not sure whether I'm happy with it or not, but I think it would be worth doing again now a few years down the line.
