This is an older piece representing an idea that I keep coming back to. This is my second attempt. I'm still not happy with it and will probably try again.
I drew this at a zoom climate event on a postcard. It will be sent to a state politician. I drew it with colored pencils (I got inspired by @DoisPontoseMeio's art.) I think the face is good, that's the reason I uploaded it but the rest isn't that great (I'm still learning how to draw things other than faces.)
Multi media: inks sprayed on sketchbook, brush markers, and fine liners seeking out shapes via negative painting. Then plonking about a bit, until sleep finally embraced me.
My sister is a writer and I am an artist, so we've teamed up to work on a children's book together. This is a draft of the first page, which will eventually be illustrated with watercolor and digital elements.
In a hidden halo setting, a ring of small diamonds surrounds the central stone between the claws of the setting, adding some extra sparkle to each element of the ring. This ring is also pavé set on the shank, meaning that small diamonds are set into the circumference of the band.
I took inspiration from another photo, but can't upload it because I'm not plus. I'm new here and am open to feedback and advice. As you can see, it isn't the greatest, but I'm always trying to improve! Have a good day!

Super Nationals at the Gaylord—two rivers running through the lobby, actual boats gliding under glass ceilings, a nature center tucked between restaurants. Noise everywhere: kids, clocks, pawns and queens. Yet here, in the middle of it, a pause. A man leans back with the weight of waiting. A woman sits, at ease but still seeking. This majority of trees that surround my property are the Marri from the Myrtaceae family is endemic to this area. They grow upwards of 40 metres and are a favourite food to the protected Red-tailed Black Cockatoo.
