A meet the artist meme of me!

One of the most difficult practices is being ready to accept anything and everything that comes, without judgement, staying in the moment with our experience. This is a powerful practice. I tried to express some essence or feeling of it.

Made in Adobe Draw on the iPad. So its vector. Autumn colors. I need flowers or other pretty stuff in my life now, to not run into the same old winter depression. Oh, why am I not born somewhere with more light? I don't like it, when we only have 8 light hours and they are not so light at all. And I don't like going by airplane to have a small holiday, since its bad for pollution. What to do? Flowers, lots of them..

A few days ago, I could see a flock of quail, they came directly to my window, when one of them did not manage to climb with the others and crashed into my window. I quickly went to see her but she had already died.

To help pass time and keep my creativity at the front of my brain, I keep a half sheet handy and challenge myself to fill the page with lines, shapes and shadows before the shift is over. Never a theme planned I let the pen take me on its own adventure. I’m just a passenger.

A doodle in the series "Spot the Tennis Ball Doodle" I did years ago. There are many story in this drawing. One thing makes me love doodling the best is you can put so many stories within a single canvas. I love stories, I love telling as much. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The main story I want to tell here in this picture is the loving CARROT fox. He just desperately want to have carrot for meals but only the Hares, Rabbits grow them. And they doesn't like foxes. But lucky for him, somehow, he find a friend who can help him with that, a HARE friend. The friendship of two is beautiful. Hm, you know, just one of the normal days, the Fox wait for the Hare to carry for him a carrot. The waiting was long and Fox just couldn't stay still. But the Hare came finally, and the Fox was so happy, he JUMP!

my first ever piece of art i sold was this piece, i think around 2012 when i started going into more illustrative based work. its great to look back and see the progression and level i have progressed. i remember thinking this was the best i could do but now if i did something on the same level i wouldnt be so happy. i got a lot of good feedback off this piece and do plan on recreating it one day :))...

There's a moment in Black Panther where Michael B Jordan's character steals an African mask from a museum. When the other character with him asks why, he says "I'm just feelin' it." The mask he grabbed was VERY cool, and I kind of wanted one, too. But, short of stealing things out of museums, I guess I'll have to draw them. After 1.5 hrs of experimenting... It wasn't easy to decide on what body shape my character should have. Through an "intuitive approach" of shifting anatomical proportions, it was still decided to remain on an avian's concept instead of a wyvern's. Wyvern can be kept to the wyvern... The phoenix needs something more like an bird's, after all. p.s: I also have to remember to keep the neck shorter...
