have to be honest...I'm not a fan of cutesy characters I prefer cold, sarcastic, scornful characters like Ruthleen,Parslip,Elveridrel, snidecious and Morrison.but clemence is the exception because her cuteness never favors her because she's not taken seriously as a person (because she's pink and fluffy, like real cotton candy)anyway Clemence was supposed to be a partly humanoid candy person but since it didn't suit her personality(clever, hard working, hopeful)well I changed her to a humanoid instead.she was timid and clumsy in her original look and she was taller 6'0.again these are old sketches I completely forgot about,
I don't like sharing my art on platforms usually, so I'm using this space to kind of dip my toes in. I'm a digital artist, and I mostly draw feeling sketches when I'm in a dark headspace. This particular one is from a late night depressive episode.
Attempt 3 at drawing a a baby! This one is actually kinda better. I like how it turned out, it’s really light so I may need to retake but attempt 3 is a success!
So here Is a random doodle I did. But that’s not all why I posted this. I grew up with my dad doing art around me. He’s a makeup artist. He is on here too see if you can find him LOL. He is such a good artist. I guess I had that artist shame of my art not being good enough. I always thought that. Until I realized recently that I have my own style. His style is his! I realized that my art is amazing but I don’t always think that because I watched his art. Also to add, I am not a patient artist most of my art is done in a day. That’s why it’s not the best it could be.
This is the second edition of my snake drawing collection, the first one was titled "slipped secrets" and addressed the conveyance of information between certain parties that should not have been shared. This artwork portrays a sense of love and mutual agreement/understanding using snakes as the conceptual medium through which the action and emotion is portrayed
I decided to try and do an this one entirely out of pen, without first using pencil..... Which didn't turn out so well considering that I'm terrible at spacing letters. So I am aware his name is missing an a at the end. I will try to upload more frequently and try to figure out how to do digital art, I was having a problem with my images being smaller than 500x500, if you know how you could help me that would be much appreciated.
It's hard to escape emotions. The normal part of life is to be braver when you're depressed. It's like the trapped pigeons. Up in the clouds, longing for freedom.
I tried coming up with a color palette from a color wheel. Trying to learn more about color theory. I'm actually 100% self taught, if you don't count the plethora of YouTube videos I've watched over the years. Drawn with FireAlpaca.
I can't decide which color palette to pick for my character. Can you guys help out? Comment on which color palette you like more, and why! Drawn with FireAlpaca.
