Friday night I sit at a lantern near the exit of the subway Wilmersdorferstraße. Next to me a pile of electric scooters, their taillights shining red, ready for rent. To the left, people go to the subway or come out, then the escalator starts, screeching
For a long time, I always misheard the lyrics in the song ‘Torn Green Velvet Eyes’ by The Magnetic Fields as ‘Tom Green Velvet Eyes’… told myself that one day I’d draw something inspired by this mishearing of things and well, here you go!

This was originally drawn yr 2020 but i put the metallic chrome on her in yr 2022. It seemed better fit to make her into chrome instead of skin that I had her drawn as originally.
