The European Goldfinch is a striking small finch with a distinctive red face and black-and-white head. Its wings are black with a bright yellow wing bar, while the body is mainly buff or light brown.
During the breeding season, the bill of male and female goldfinches is white, but at other times of the year, it is marked with a black tip.
Female goldfinches are very alike in appearance to males, and visually, it is hard to tell them apart from a distance. At close range, the sexes can be distinguished by the size of the red facial patch, with the females not extending past the eyes as it does in males of the species.
Juvenile goldfinches do not develop adults' red, white and black facial markings until the late summer or autumn after hatching. Until this point, they have streaky buff-brown markings on their heads. Info: Birdfact . com

A week on from Artemis II coming back to Earth from the moon and only now do I do a proper lunar themed tribute to it all! It also gave me an excuse to buy another Palm Pals plush, so happy days to that :-)

Translating Jim Henson's crazy detailed puppets from the Dark Crystal into what I feel would be an appropriate illustrative style for 2D was a lot of fun, and I might fiddle around more with it. Character is an OC Skeksis with the title of Therapist/Psychologist, so the little designs on his jacket are supposed to represent neuron synapses and the back... thing (which you can't see from this angle) would look like a brain.
Ce dessin était à la base le croquis d'une femme d'un clip d'une musique qui m'a finalement inspiré à libérer mes idées sans en juger le manque de logique dans le cheminement. J'ai décidé de lâcher prise et d'appliquer ce qui me venait à l'esprit. Je suis maintenant fière de cette œuvre qui peut porter l'interprétation de chacun. Son titre en est la mienne.
This drawing was basically a woman's clip of a music video that lately inspired me to release my ideas without judging the lack of logic in the process. I decided to let go and apply whatever came to mind. I am now proud of this work which can support everyone's interpretation. Its title is mine.
Il s'agit d'une fresque faite avec des animaux que j'ai rencontré durant mes stages de soigneur animalier Gris du Gabon, Cerf Sika, Renard roux et Raton laveur. Cela m'a pris un mois, j'en suis si fière.
This is a fresco made with animals that I met during my training courses as animal caretaker Gabon Grey, Sika Deer, Red Fox and Raccoon. It take me a month, i'm so proud of it.
