Ice Dream. There’s some strange references going on in this one. If I don’t explain it won’t come together. Back in my day the Europe 72 3 record Dead live album had a crazy kid on the back cover smashing a cone on his head. Later an ice cream truck company called Weaser ripped off that art and would visit my mid Jersey neighborhood daily. Google it if you care. Flash forward to 2019. The ice cream truck that hits my neighborhood EVERY DAYS has a loud obnoxious song and no Greatful Dead connections. It drives me out of my mind so here is the result. I always try to turn my pain into gain. What a long strange explanation it’s been.

Answer: They tie branches to theirs horns.

This work is purposely incomplete. I will facilitate a group of people who will color in the black and white template as well as have the option of making their own art freehand. Individual and couple contributions will be combined to make our composite mural. People who participate in this event will thus listen and speak while creating artwork for the mural. Had to squeeze in some drawing earlier on yesterday before editing the photos I captured at Friday night’s gig with Ozric Tentacles and friends. Fantastic stuff that was!
To be perfectly honest, the latest lockdown announcement here in Scotland was bound to influence my art in some form or another...
Needless to say this is going to be one looooong winter, one that’ll have me blasting “Here Comes The Sun” by The Beatles once it ends, or at the very least stabilises.
Ce dessin était à la base le croquis d'une femme d'un clip d'une musique qui m'a finalement inspiré à libérer mes idées sans en juger le manque de logique dans le cheminement. J'ai décidé de lâcher prise et d'appliquer ce qui me venait à l'esprit. Je suis maintenant fière de cette œuvre qui peut porter l'interprétation de chacun. Son titre en est la mienne.
This drawing was basically a woman's clip of a music video that lately inspired me to release my ideas without judging the lack of logic in the process. I decided to let go and apply whatever came to mind. I am now proud of this work which can support everyone's interpretation. Its title is mine.
