I really had to ponder this quote and figure out how to illustrate it. A spider came to mind...so tiny and fragile in comparison yet invokes so much fear. Then considered a daddy long leg.

Anywaaay...! This illustration is a fan art of the two main characters from relatively unknown PS2 classic, Okage. If you haven't heard of it or paid it much attention before, it's a must-play if you don't tire of JRPGs!! Been working on a set of my characters in this fun Vaporwave aesthetic. So I missed some of Inktober, well that and I got super busy. I'm really happy with how they all came out so I will be posting them over the next few days! This is my character Serenity!
This cute chubby little fairy got used for bait to catch... hmm.. who knows what? Let's all hope she gets out of the water safe. So much fun with the expression, pose and adding the depth. I would love feedback on this.

Went off a different prompt list today because I really wanted to draw something chill. Also I wanted to do some reference pose practice. PIntrest is a god send for trying to figure out how body's move. XD. This one is much more simple since I wasn't too focused on finishing the full color. Instead I played around with a few of my drawing programs tools. Tried to use its coloring mask, patterns, and texture brushes to get a simple yet readable mood.
Thinking of doing a series of drawing pop culture and gaming cherries in a "twist". That twist equating to exploring my different styles, since it's been awhile.
If you don't t know, this is a character rehashed from my imagination of what "toad" people would look like in a different Super Mario universe.

Painted as my final project for my Painting Environments course. I was super nervous about tackling this one, but learned a ton taking this course. I'm happy to move on to the next one. :-)
