Zelfmedelijden is Dutch for Self-pity. The person is drowning in their own self-pity. They are depressed and poison themselves with their pity. It hurts, but is hard to stop. Addicted to pain.

They are a figment of my imagination
This is Veldt a character I'll be using in DnD he is the son of a high elf and a slavic folkoric creature called a Poludnitsa or lady midday. Unlike other fairies and demons the ladies they love sunlight and heat. They are said to appear as peasant women among plumes of dust clouds carrying a scythe or shears. They are blamed for sun stroke and madness that besets field workers during the hottest of days.
This is a drawing of a random popstar I made up. His name is Alejandro Bolvaire and he has the voice of Danny Gokey. XD (Danny Gokey is awesome -- give him a listen sometime) Anyway, Alejandro here is mostly crayon, but his hair and shades are colored with brush pens. He has an ink pen outline. They rode in silence as the sandy dunes passed them by. There was a storm brewing at the horizon. They did not know what destiny had in store for them next. All they had was themselves to rely on. They needed no one, they were independent.

Doodle piano by Cédric la touffe. Superforma and The Silo asked me to customize the old piano that was outside at the silo. I first started during the concerts of 10lec6, Loire Valley Valypsos, The Green box and Ineige then finished at Silo after 22 hours of work.
One thing I love about natural objects is how they often remind me of handmade objects. Like these acorns--the caps look just knit caps. So I scanned in a handful and used them as the basis for this sketch.
The result is not as good as I imagined. But anyway I want to share it, because:
- others may find it great,
- art taste is subjective,
- even if it's bad, you can receive a constructive critique or tips on how to improve it.
Don't be afraid to share your failures. They push you forward. You can learn a lot from them.
My latest sketch using Corel Painter 2021 on PC with digital pencil. The Tufted Titmouse (Baeolophus bicolor) is a small, grey-plumed songbird, easily recognized for the crest of grey feathers atop its head, its big black eyes, black forehead, and its rust-coloured flanks. They are quite common throughout the eastern part of North America, so if you're in that geographical region and want to catch a glimpse of a Tufted Titmouse, it may not be that difficult to find.
Tyto Strix is a northern nobleman and scout heir to the marches along a hotly contested border. His eyes are almost like black coal and his unruly hair is an ice blonde complimenting the wintery steppes that he calls home.
I can't do inkinv right now because of a health problem right now, but I am still doodling! I get to have my brain tumor removed on the 9th of February.
