Switching things up a bit. Trying out different art techniques. This was sketched in pencil and colored with watercolor pencils. I created this character randomly while I was doodling one day. She still needs a name.
Pictured is Lilac, a female original character I created in spring. Her design is inspired by traditional japanese fashion and attire, but I gave it a modern twist to fit into a more futuristic setting.
Coloring practice! Looked up a lot of references for the lighting, and despite not looking like the reference I'd say I've leveled up with colored pencils. I almost never use prismas except for hair, but this time prismas colored the entire lass. This here's Yonn Goldheart Afflora, savior of Galantra, basically she's the braveheart of her country. The dirt on her face speaks of 1000 hunts and the loss of her eye shows the extent of her bravery and sacrifice. I'm thinking her chapter should be explained in a short story, yes? For legends get passed along in story over fire and wine!

Visual artists from the World of Fantasy are familiar with these creatures who are alive to every creator. Their court cannot be affected, there is no way to deceive the inner voice that knows the truth, created by the Observers. I'm good at titles not at all... Had a chance to try out black paper with neon colored pencils. Although I used a couple of regular ones since they can appear a bit on Black - and there's a small amount of colors I got. Regardless, it was relaxing to try out something completely different.
It's a second attempt at drawing a landscape with a water element.
I'm not focusing on many details by drawing water. Creating a lot of blurry shapes and lines gives a great reflection effect.

This was a commission for a Magic The Gathering Goblin token. A goblin riding a squirrel, wielding a spoon and wearing a bucket for a helmet. He may or may not actually be dunk in a tavern getting a bit too into a story he is telling.

The people in the button do not see anything attractive, the attention given to him is current and lasts until the buttoned some clothing item which wants to wear. With us in the World of Fantasy, fortunately, this is not the case, we give the buttons a deserved attention which they fully deserve. Abilities: She wields a staff that consumes souls of the living. She uses those souls to feed her power.
Extra (for now): The globe on her staff is an ancient artifact in which she had to prove her will and strength to achieve it. The artifact draws out the souls of her victims. But before it does, it puts them in a trance like state to keep them immobilized.
Tried to follow some art propmt lists this October to get my creativity going again. Abandoned this particular list a couple of days in, but I really like this sketch. Pencil on paper.
