The little Mer-alien

My first post for doodle addicts! a evil alien looking jellyfish lol. Originally I wanted it as my member picture but I haven't figured out how to update that part of my profile.

Sorry I've been kinda dead on the site lately, but I figured I'd upload some of my sketching practice I've done over the past month.

Maybe not a doodle but I just like it. It is done a fine art academy one week Workshop I took part in. This piece is about 9 hours in the making

Line action figures

Here is my recreation of Adam using pointillism. I can't quite figure out how to draw the foot, so it turned out cartoonish, but well, I tried.

Leo..wasnt the best at taking pictures for his school page. But at least the cat ones look good, right? No he just stole them from one of his favorite games. Dammit Leo! (still tired and sleepy..honk mimimimimimi but i have no clue what to draw next honsetly. IM THINKING OF STUFF I THINK, THE SIDE PHOTOS ARE CATTAIL FROM PLANTS VZ ZOMBIES. I LIKE CATTAIL!!!!) (just kill me already...............(again))

A drawing that took me forever XD I knew how I wanted the lighting, it just took me a long time to figure out how to make it a certain way. Mainly the yellow gradient+glow around the character, not the lighting actually on her. This request was asked by the lovely nabi_nalgae on Instagram and she wanted me to draw this pretty lady, her character Nabi!

The picture is terrible. the colors are much brighter... Named for the person liked it most Marker, sharpie, watercolor markers. Simple way to get out of my mind, relax, zone out, I call it brain numbing style because to me it's simple (but it's not really) and just what I do no rhyme or reason. I Just start drawing lines (no subject) with black sharpie/perm marker and see what develops, often surprise myself. I go back and see faces, objects, figures... Closing lines up I see more and then as I start adding color more images develop, no theme to begin but rather it develops as I color and close it in . I tend to see faces a lot especially in graphite or charcoal and in just about anything...rocks, wood, paneling. At times I start with a scenery or subject but turns out completely different and the original never happened. I find out after I look up from being so focused (call it zoned out)

Pencil

It is one continuous line. The name of a historic figure. I started to name my doodle with names at one point.

These figures found must cast some meanings from my subconscious. They simply came and as a whole composition! I uploaded a full description on youtube giving them individual names, mostly ghostly. This piece contains a spooky atmosphere stronger than the others and remains one of my favorites, probably because better works come effortless.
