Making sense of a recent donation in a charity shop I volunteer at…

Endangered Species New Zealand Kaka... A large olive-brown forest parrot with grey-white crown, bright red-orange underwing and deep crimson belly and under-tail coverts. Males have a noticeably longer and deeper upper mandible and bigger head than females which is apparent when the two are seen side by side. I used an online program called "Sketchpad" if you'd like to use the web tool I used for the trees. I was overall just messing around with it, but I'm very happy with the result.

Went out, topped up on art supplies and foxtrotted off on an adventure with my girlfriend. Standard stuff!
