A 3 format We love when Puppet amused! We always learn from The Greatest! Warning! The following text is intended for fans of Puppet Zvonko! People with poor cognitive abilities may remain confused. We Puppetapostles, we keep track of what our Lord Puppet is doing, we study each of his movements, each his word is recorded and subjected to philosophical analysis. And always, again, over and over again, our conviction is strengthened every time: He is the God of eternal wisdom and the correct procedures! It is known that Puppet Zvonko - for their own entertainment - whips, branded and cuts people with a razor, often with mortal consequences. We gladly approve of it, it is reasonable to Overpower must feel comfortable and have fun, with us, miserable microbes. We are happy that we are honored with its perfect presence. For the last month, we noticed that his Torture Trinity (razor, whip, stamp) was exclusively used by one unbeliever, just a blow - two, and then Puppet goes away. Instead of showing happiness which the Puppet is experiencing him at all, touching his pagan body with sacred objects, the unbeliever tries to hide, of course, in vain. We Puppetapostles, we also know that most of the inhabitants of the Magic Valley, to say the least, does not approve Puppet Zvonko proceedings (here we mention that those miserable ones, blind with healthy eyes, The Puppet is called a monster, concentration of evil and other totally wrong names). The Puppetapostles remain in their firm claim: Puppet Zvonko sends his sacred, allegorical messages to the inhabitants of the Magic Valley by his actions - and other beings - who are sufficiently mature to accept the truth, final knowledge, the purpose of life. Now comes the time when we need to understand why Puppet bothering just one unbeliever for a month! Have we developed enough cognitive power or we are just miserable microbes - how does Puppet claim?

© YLYA YOD I had an idea to create illustrations of fruit set in autumn 2017, and have been working on the realization of this idea throughout February/March 2018. In all, I have created 11 illustrations: apple, apricot, banana, cherry, grape, lemon, orange, pear, plum, tomato, watermelon. Using rapidograph to form the shape, I am coloring my works digitally in Adobe Photoshop. Here is an apple!

I used a Platinum Preppy fountain pen for this. I like how it makes me kinda happy looking at it haha. I made this into digital form ( made it a little happier with more smiley faces) and put it on my Redbubble and TeePublic.

Super Nationals at the Gaylord—two rivers running through the lobby, actual boats gliding under glass ceilings, a nature center tucked between restaurants. Noise everywhere: kids, clocks, pawns and queens. Yet here, in the middle of it, a pause. A man leans back with the weight of waiting. A woman sits, at ease but still seeking. An empty chair remembers everyone who has rested there. In a place built to dazzle, what lingered with me was not the spectacle, but the silence. It is not sky, nor sea, nor sand alone. It is the threshold—a doorway, where silence teaches and light remembers. Sometimes the quickest drawings hold the deepest truths. During an after-sermon discussion about understanding the love of God, I found myself listening with one ear and drawing with the other. Frank, seated across the room, made a natural model—relaxed posture, thoughtful presence, and a face full of character. With a pen in hand, I traced his form in a quick contour line, following the folds of his shirt, the tilt of his jaw, the stillness of his hands resting in his lap. Contour drawing asks us to see more than just the surface—it demands patience and presence, a slowing down until the line itself feels like prayer. Frank became more than a subject; he was a reminder that the love of God is often revealed in ordinary moments and everyday people.

This week’s been an interesting one for socialising in my world, no denying it. If I’m not getting acquainted with new folks at work or at my art clubs, it’s reconnecting with people I haven’t seen in 20+ years… certainly informed today’s piece, without a doubt!

Realism in the form of nature.

Behold the Chair (inspired by Wendell Berry) Make a place to sit down. Sit down. Be quiet. The chair does not strive. It does not speak loudly. It simply is— ready to receive, to hold what comes, to honor the silence. This drawing does not shout. It listens. It does not disturb the quiet— it joins it. Like a prayer whispered to the One who listens back, this mark is a presence, not a performance.

Learning to see through drawing. It is a form of therapy.

This quick sketch of an impressionist painting is a reminder to me of how we cannot see anything until we are taught to see it. I was enjoying the painting because of the way Tarbell captured light, when a man and his wife joined me. The man said to his wife: "This is a wonderful painting, but I wonder whose lap the baby is on.". I was shocked because I was not able to see the baby till he mentioned that there was one. I noticed that it was indeed difficult to tell whose lap it was on. It was a transformative and humbling experience.

A friend of mine asked if I would draw her family in a star wars scene. She wanted to surprise her husband for father's day. Drawing the human form of Chewbacca was surprisingly difficult. I made their dog a sith lord because "She's an evil bitch". Overall, it was a fun piece

“The politics of the world frustrate me. I control my frustration when I write, but it explodes when I perform.” A quote from a Benjamin Zephaniah documentary I caught not long ago on BBC iPlayer’s been resonating with me as of late. Granted, I tend to keep politics light here (if anything) but I stand by what I’ve just said regardless.

Figured I’d try my hand at something fan art flavoured for this one… namely in the form of my favourite tiny fictional character, Kirby! I can’t ascertain when exactly I became a fan of the Kirby franchise, although playing Super Smash Bros as a young boy may have something to do with that. Whatever the case, I got hooked on the pink (or blue in some cases) puffball very quickly!

Thoughts of my cousin’s memorial weekend, among other things, informed this piece… also, ‘lystenning’ is a beautiful word, eh?

And now the Worry Wolf can stick by your side and bring ease to your everyday worries. A doodle, turned into a weatherproof clear sticker, cloaking lonely water bottles worldwide. Thanks for looking!

Shea Coulee is an amazing performer and personality. Her recent work and Instagram feed were the inspiration for this piece. Each layer is digitally painted, but I love the overall screen print feel.

Bob the Drag Queen is a legendary performer and personality. She is one of my favorite people. I kept the composition simple to focus on shading and facial dimensions. I paid close attention to not lightening her skin tone and respecting her heritage but also contrasting the gold dress and blue background.
