Oh, why am I not born somewhere with more light? I don't like it, when we only have 8 light hours and they are not so light at all. I used a metal tip to a mechanical pencil and dragged it along the paper to create the highlight effects in her hair. It is effective but irreversible, so I don't do it very often.
My grandma is a craftswoman . She used to work at a Talavera pottery studio and sometimes I would skip school and join her at work. She would give me an imperfect blank pottery piece and lend me her painting supplies so I could create my own art.

"Ups & Downs" explores the nature of basic shapes/colors and how they interact to tell a story. This piece focuses on an infinite recycled energy, meaning there is no end point to its structure. The aim was to keep it simple yet structurally complex to the eye.
