I have been making a lot of thank you cards lately and I thought I’d share. Haven’t had a ton of experience with watercolor lately, but I find the best way to get back into using a medium is using it on small projects and gradually working up to bigger pieces.

So this character has gone through some crazy character development. I started his design a few years ago, well lets say hes matured and went through puberty. I'm so proud to see how far I have come.
I wanted to do a piece that turns an insult into something more motivational. For context, to be called a strawberry is associated with being weak and sensitive, as strawberries are soft and easily bruised.
This drawing was made with many references to the many ideas in my head, from stories to characters to entire worlds, this is it! My milestone for them all!
It was a random sketch in my files piling up. I just finished it and rendered it. Didn't think of design-wise besides a character that may fit an 80s anime mainly a dark fantasy.
I used soft charcoal and a large sheet of newprint to depict this model in a life drawing class. He exuded a deep sadness and his poses seemed natural to his countenance. He was also very thin.

Returning with the drawings of starry nights in different lands of my tribes, it is Aquacl and Tsunoplet's turn but because the only stars that the Aquatures see are Mixstar (they are Mixamal starfish) so the two usually take a break outside the sea on top of a rock to see the stars in the sky
