Saw the prompt looking for inspiration and wanted to try to draw a hand pressed up against glass... I thought I did a pretty good job for a first try

New medium:

Whiteboard art! Its actually pretty challenging, mainly because you can't let your hand touch the surface (also I couldn't really figure out shading)

Wolverine and Wolverine

I have been binging on the older X-Men shows and had the urge to draw up one of their most popular mutants. But what's better than Wolverine? TWO WOLVERINES! Now, I wasn't really sure what I was trying to do with these two. At first, I tried to have them just do a handshake but then switched it over to them competing. Still not convinced on what these two are doing but it was fun to draw so all is good. Question for all the X-Men fans out there. Which version of Wolverine is your favorite?

Charcoal Design

Here’s a charcoal drawing of a design. Of course, I have a plethora of curvatures that range from narrow to wide in some areas. The curvatures are mirror images when comparing the left from the right. They come together to form the shape of a chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Some may even view the drawing as being similar to the pelvic area of a female. A dark blue is highlighted on the drawing to add more charm. Finally, the background is a lattice style with a light smear.

Emory meets Florien

the mist hung heavy over scion's sound its waters lapping at the boats at the dock. Florien paced anxiously waiting to greet his betrothed. He had not slept an anxious knot curling in his stomach. If marrying Emory 'Lyrander' Lorelei was necessary for improving the future of Rekkenmark it is what he would do. He mustered a nervous smile sweeping into a chivalrous bow when Kukta cawed from her perch. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance Miss Lorelei. He extended a hand to help her down from the riverboat doing his best to ignore the mistrustful expression on her face.

When They Jig

One thing I love about natural objects is how they often remind me of handmade objects. Like these acorns--the caps look just knit caps. So I scanned in a handful and used them as the basis for this sketch.

Kitchenware Octopus

Extremely useful around the house, but doomed to constant despair, the Kitchenware Octopus loves to cook but has no free hands for carrying groceries. The last of her kind, she yearns for a mate to lovingly entangle ladles with, but has yet to meet anyone willing to risk constant proximity to the cheese grater.

Unexpected Visitor

Unexpected Visitor This color sketch was done for a pumpkin carving design I did for the Chadds Ford Historical Society Great Pumpkin Carving contest. The sketch is a a lot more impressive then what you can see here ,unfortunately when the picture was scanned ,The Kinkos sale person chopped half of the image that shows the hands, one point at you, and the other holding the sickle, and the flowing rope hanging off the Grim Reaper's arms. I spent a couple of week just studying skeleton to do this sketch. I was Inspire to do this design by the thought that came across my mine about death. We are like helpless babies playing Peek A Boo when it come to our knowledge of the time death will drop by to pick us off. Some people who are terminally ill and are told by the doctor they have only a couple of days to live, must feel like the Grim Reaper is sitting right in front of them with his face hidden behind his hands, and when you lest expected he opens his hand like to great door turning on their hinges to open up to reveal him sticks his face in their's and shrieking ,"Peek A Boo," and followed by a hideous laugh . A creature

I crawled right up to Daddy's modelling mirror which stands on the floor by the box of plaster. A great big black creature was creeping towards me. I got cautious and stood still. The creature was shapeless. It was one of those creatures that can spread itself out and creep under the furniture or turn into a black fog that gets thicker and thicker until it is quite sticky and gets all around you and fastens itself to you. I let the creature get a little closer and put its hand out. The hand crept along the floor and then was pulled back suddenly. The creature came even closer. Suddenly it got scared and ran quickly in an oblique direction and stopped still. Now I was scared. - Sculptor's Daughter by Tove Jansson #dailydrawing #tovejansson
