This artwork was supposed to be a self portrait but it quickly turned into a more charming, awesome stylized portrait (not mine, obviously). This piece has a color scheme similar to midnight gospel and katana zero (video game), I have added the blue and pink color shades to make it a little bit interesting. I always enjoy making characters, but with a traditional medium, this is my first digital character design or more of a cartoon. This character is inspired by the vampire genre with the color scheme of pink and blue, the cartoony inspiration is from television series such as adventure time, Rick and Morty, and midnight gospel. Fourth Sorrowful Mystery: The carrying of the cross. So I basically have 5 stations of the cross combined into one. The carrying of the cross (2nd station), When he sees our Blessed Mother (4), Simon of Cyrene forced to help (5), St. Veronica wipes his face (6), he meets the women (8). In between these are the 3 times he fell, the first station of his condemation and then the striping before the final mystery of the Rosary. "And they compelled a passer-by, Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to carry his cross. And they brought him to the place called Golgotha (which means the place of a skull)" (Mk 15:21-22). "By accepting in his human will that the Father's will be done, he accepts his death as redemptive, for 'he himself bore our sins in his body on the tree' (1 Pt 2:24)" (CCC, 612). Our Father, 10 Hail Marys (contemplating the mystery), Glory be to the Father.

I've never been much of a cat person but I have to say that Akita helped me to appreciate cats. She is a great hunter and with take out pesky mice and she doesn't chew electronic wires. She's very nice and likes to come up to me when I go outside. But she isn't too invasive and she isn't annoying at all. She stays outside for the most part as well so the monastery doesn't smell like cat. :P I think this is probably my first drawing of a cat, I just sketched her real quick and added her eye color, she kinda looks like an artic cat like this, well she is pretty resistant to cold, lol (her normal colors are brown/black/orange/white).

It's our Mother of Jesus! Child Version! ^_^ Our order actually has a devotion to the Child Mary as well as the Child Jesus. It's all about being little and realizing our calling as Children of God. When I draw these little cutesy things it helps me to remember to be little, to not take things so seriously all the time. By the grace of God they give me joy. :) Remember, be little! Peace

I live on Toronto's waterfront, and everyday there seems to be something new to sketch. I'm trying to keep busy with this whole COVID-19 epidemic. I really can't help but to keep sketching, keeps me sane from all the fear going around.

Sorry for the vent art, it's just well... I have some unpleasant memories to get off my chest. I've been in many relationships where I've been used and cheated on. They all promised one thing, that they'd stay with me and help me get through my mental illness's. But they lied, got their meal and ran off. But for a few months now, I've met a really wonderful man and I think he may be the one. He has shown that he really likes me and I can't wait for our future U//v//U

I asked for help because I saw it coming. They didn't provide suitable help for me. It came, no-one listened and they tried to send me away to save my neighbours, but I stayed. Then, after everyone was gone, they listened. WHY? Just why isn't MY safety imporant enough? I've been reaching out for weeks here (for months, years elsewhere). Why do you try to save my neighbours but never me? It only came because my neighbours drove me insane and I triedt to keep it all in. WHY?

This is a quick painting I did in my sketchbook in order to help kickstart me back into painting. It is painted in Arteza brand gouache on Canson watercolor paper. I've gotten into drawing plants lately and I think these ginger plants are a new favorite of mine.

Aaaand forgot to post yesterday again. Sorry. Zmey can't talk, which is one of the reasons he took Anka as an apprentice and he is teaching her sign language. (It's not an easy feat. He was hoping she could read to help, but let's say it's not the case either) He is not medically mute, he could make sound if he need to. It's just it's highly not recommended for him to open his mouth, thank to a little magical mishap when he met Baba Yaga for the first time. She still maintain it was well earned. So does he. (Little note: He is saying "flame" in french sign language) (Look, I couldn't find reference for russian sign language, and I'm not sure there was a sign language in their russian themed mythical medieval fantastical yolo universe)

I'm happy to have finished this illustration. It took me a lot longer than I expected. I couldn’t help but add more and more details to the point that sometimes I lost my motivation to finish it, but i did it. :D
