Hey everyone! This is an interactive website I did for my BFA thesis this year. The piece explores the struggles I’ve faced as a black, lesbian woman. This piece features events that happened when I was in an unhealthy relationship in high school, from late-2016 to mid-2017. The work combines CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML with digitized images that I drew on paper, using black colored pencil. I'd really appreciate some feedback and critique for this work. After completing “Moody Pumpkins” the foreground looked interesting so I removed the pumpkins modified the remaining foreground and added the trees and sky. Tree colors were selected from the foreground and other palettes.
He stares at the small square black device. The red led in it keeps blinking simultaneously with the beep and, except for one small button, Neal sees no other modules.
“…This is weird,” he says aloud.
When Satchmo makes another louder puff, Neal decides to go ahead with his friend’s advice and press the button.

Phew! What a fortnight it's been here. Been engaging more in my photography as of late, but the day-job's had me on 'go' mode all Easter quite frankly. Thank the maker for those moments to yourself when you can just.. well, indulge really.
Hii there!:) In the last few weeks i noticed, that sometimes when i started drawing there where insecurities that came up. Like: it is not good enough etc. Then I reminded myself that everyone can have that feeling when it comes to creating something that is important to them. Maybe when somebody writes a new song or edits a video they made etc. So I started drawing Talun. There is alot of aspects he is proud of and others that he feels insecure about. He reminds me, that it is natural to have some doubts or just insecurities. Talun wishes you a wonderful day! And of course, me too!
Hello! :) Drawing this was really fun. I was working on it in different places. In our living room, on the balcony aand at the beach. My sister, my mum and I went on our first road trip together. This is only the second time I've done pixel art. (both times were today) This is based on my own hand, which has rather stubby fingers, but I added some lighter touches that make it more feminine than my own. (I rather like my black nails, thank you very much)
