This is a self-portrait. I didn't use a mirror or a picture here. This is what I look like in my own memories. It's a bit misleading, I think I am skinnier than the drawing suggests, but that doesn't feel like me. I have been overweight for years and I feel like I am too skinny at the moment. I feel like I should be curvier like in the drawing. This is about body-image, body-dysmorphia even. I do have those clothes, glasses and haircut. This work is pastel on paper (it's quite big, but I don't have a measure closeby)
Inspired by a drawing challenge to draw two objects based on the first letters of your first and last name. I thought a chameleon and labrador would be fun to draw together, because it reminds me of the friendship that forms when an extrovert adopts an introvert ^_^ This is my first digital drawing that I tried without using line art. It was challenging to get the hang of, but I like the bright and simple effect of it.
This is an old Formula 3 race car built by Joseph Potts ltd, Lanarkshire, in 1952. They have it in the National Museum of Scotland, where I drew this a couple of weeks ago as a part of Urban Sketchers meetup (as it’s too cold to go outside yet). This is pretty mixed media: pencil, watercolour pencil, white gouache and some acrylic markers. Drawn on spot.
⚡Flash Back Friday⚡ Going back to a blackbook doodle from a few years ago. Why am I showing you this? Because graffiti art is, and has been, one of my greatest influences (aside from M.C. Escher). It is an art form I love, and I gain much inspiration from the graffiti scene (legal and illegal). I got Procreate a bit ago and it took me too long to figure it out and learn how to work with it. I was so used to my old program that starting all over got pretty discouraging. I finally finished my first procreate portrait! There are a few things I’m not happy about but I’m not sure how to fix them. Any ideas and advice are super welcome!!!

Jon Snow’s faithful companion. In the beginning of the first few seasons, Ghost seem to come and go and Jon would wonder where he went! Like a ghost! Sometimes appearing outta nowhere! Here's a traditional art sketch card, produced on a 4 X 5 inch blank licensed card. The cut lines are set at 2.5 X 2.3 standard trading card size. Artwork is Copic marker and Prismacolor colored pencil. This card was created as a random insert for the 2018 Rittenhouse Archives Star Trek Captains collection Card series.
