hi

Quick sketches for the processing of incomplete thoughts. Everything is created twice, first in thought, second in form. I am still thinking and still forming and still being formed.

Notes from an early teaching moment.

did i post this already?

yeah I stopped uploading 4 a while so a halloween girl in Nov isn't the best

Where did Monday go indeed...

Very elegant. Can't u see a mermaid with this eye?

...of a sort.

And that wraps things up with my current sketchbook! New one incoming shortly...

Sketchbook party.

Ink and charcoal on paper

I think this has a REALLY long neck.

Ink, charcoal and carbon pencil on paper

Shark time again. :-)

Moon and whale combo time!

Tidbits of things overheard in the pub earlier this week when I was short of inspiration = this.

My girlfriend's words inspired this one, for which I’m forever grateful! :-P :-D

Time and space and wizarding things.

New Washi tape time!

Named after a malapropism of my doing, one that makes my girlfriend snigger like mad it seems. :-P

A bit of art therapy from this time last week after an overheated and, at times, shit-tacular day at work = the best kind of therapy.

Yet more Washi tape has been acquired!

Inspired by a recent experience I had during a trip to the bank, and just reflection on “masks” we wear in general I suppose.

Another seal of approval? *ba-dum-tss*

The French Open on while painting.

It totally bypassed my mind that last night I would be off to see Gary Numan with my uncle. The perks of having both an over-active work life and a social one too...

Taking a break from photo editing to get creative in other areas... Over the Beltane weekend, my girlfriend and I watched the British dub of Urusei Yatsura over on YouTube. Yes, I assure anyone not aware, such a thing exists and my word is it hilarious (but not for the easily offended! Oh and while, I'm here, may the 4th be with you :-)

Phew! What a fortnight it's been here. Been engaging more in my photography as of late, but the day-job's had me on 'go' mode all Easter quite frankly. Thank the maker for those moments to yourself when you can just.. well, indulge really.

Not sure if this what was meant for this weeks prompt, but I've been drawing a lot of eyes lately.
