hi

Emotionally speaking, this is definitely the hardest pieces I've made so far. On July 18th, 2019, an arson attack on Kyoto Animation's Studio 1 left 36 dead and 34 injured, one of the deadliest mass casualty incidents in Japan since the end of WWII. KyoAni has some of the best working conditions in the industry and have made some of the most iconic anime to date, including Clannad, A Silent Voice, and the show that got me started on anime, Violet Evergarden (as seen in this drawing). I sent this drawing to them through their website, and there's a good chance it was displayed along with thousands of other fan submissions in Kyoto this past November as part of a public memorial service. While this was a tragic blow to the company and community, they're healing and getting back to their feet, and I can't wait to see what they create next.

A collab I did with a friend- mine is the one with the bowl on his head u.u

Pen and splash of watercolor from a series of postcards I sell https://davidmeehanart.blogspot.com/p/y.html

Inktober - Mindless

I made this with Adobe sketch for the first time...

it doesn't look like that in real life, I've taken like a dozen pictures to try and get the whole thing in focus, it's driving me crazy

A micro-pavé setting is when small diamonds are set in a way which covers a certain area of the ring. It is not uncommon for pavé settings to cover the entire shank of the ring.

My kids are fascinated with zombies, so I created this zombie alphabet for them since it is difficult to find kid-friendly zombies. The concept itself seems to be an oxymoron.

Working on the iconic goal celebration between Auba and Laca.

bad quality. drawing I did with charcoal-switching mediums with a friend for a day.

My take on Nanachi, Riko, and Reg in the Goblet of Giants from the show "Made in Abyss." Several reference photos were used. Copic markers on 150lb illustration paper.

Nothing changes but the name they call it...

This is my interpretation of the pain I feel of my OWN self loath and eatingdisorder. Its only a start to discribe it.

A few years ago, I followed a Mooc about game design et so, I created a character named Will, a little spirit able to change his appearance depending of the pumpkin he possess. So, he could become intangible (the ghost), fly really high (the bat), climb and manipulate object (the cat) and bowl over obstacles (the wolf). So for last Halloween, I decided to redraw them for a fake video game screen. Tadah! Tadam! Pour voir la version vidéo, allez ici ! https://youtu.be/JLq0vJM6L2w

And justice for none

Ahh, final day of Inktober...and for the word ripe, I couldn’t help but think of signs of spring/summer returning to the land of Westeros after everything...everything!! The battle with the Night King is over and so is the battle for the Iron Throne. All over Westeros including The North, including Winterfell is ripe for life to return to normal again. *I have already completed the entire Inktober- you can check it out on my IG account: @dittofunkysketch123 :D

Medium: Ink on Sketch Book Paper Size: 15” x 25” Year: 10/04/2019 This Illustration is my Pumpkin carve design for the Great Pumpkin Carve, sponsored by The Chad’s Ford Pa. Historical Society. I have been participating in this event since 2006. I designed this picture to illustrate the human heart toward God. Understanding the symbolism in the design Human heart: A Fortress God’s Communion with Man Kind: Irish trinity flowers, with the crown, cross, dove God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit The two doors: the diverse ways mankind communes with God. The door with the thorny flower design: A religious person who live with out power. They refuse to allow God to sit on the throne in their lives. The door with the Grape Vine design: A follower of Jesus, who summit their lives to God’s lordship. John 15:5 New King James Version (NKJV) 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. Stephen J. Vattimo 10/04/2019

This is a painting I made for my son who is a big hockey fan

This is a visual representation of my descent to college. The papers represent student loans. I’m not quite there yet, but it’s coming too soon!

Its a very rough draft to a painting i have in mind. I didnt really intend for it to have any biblical meaning to it but i could see how that could be something people take away from this

This is chucky I am terrified of it but it was an challenge this is my first time here so I am learning the ropes so I have no clue what I am doing but this gave me major chills while making it

Mess around with my pencil, based on azur lane ijn hiryuu
