hi

This is part of my daily Sketchgrind day 5. I believe you have to celebrate love everyday and not just one day in February. If you want to see more check out my Patreon Page https://www.patreon.com/uliunique

So I wanted to play with lights and shadows with this piece. (sorry I literally could not figure out how to set post it straight and I tried all I could think of, it didn's work out. Please if you have the same problem and you know how to solve it tell me, thank you).

Pencil Drawing

Sunday

Got some time to do a little bit of doodling today, an hour well spent!

Sometimes subject came from nowhere and you dont know what it is or what is meaning

This is a rough sketch for a window design I’m going to do on our front door

Just a little sketch I did yesterday night—I’ll color it later.

This is a drawing of Jotaro Kujo from the anime Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. I spent two weeks on it and I am am very proud of this drawing.

Starbucks famous Unicorn Frappuccino, and McDonald's Chocolate Chip Frappé.

8.5 X 11 cardstock

My mother actually used to say this to me and my brothers when we asked her to do something while she was in the midst of doing something else...Magic marker, then worked in Photoshop.

Feh.

Yep, still not Robert Crumb, ay? Loose-leaf notebook, marker

A prime example of why I never became the next Robert Crumb....High school, late 1970's

At this point in time this was a damn good drawing of one of my hapless algebra teachers. I actually remember doing it in class since paying attention never mattered much for me anyway. Good guy.

Man, high school stuff rescued from the portfolio under my bed. Amazing to see how little I've progressed over the last 40+ years....c'est la vie.

Bic ballpoint on notebook paper

This might actually be a pen and ink with a quill....

Worked from photograph taken at the vineyard. Clio is a highly sought after moderately expensive Spanish red. 8.5x11 card stock, technical pen

Marker on sketchbook paper

Wow, almost forgot I had this one. I was digging Joni Mitchell well before a lot of my friends "got" her musicianship. Obviously this was more or less copped from "Hejira" - an album that I pretty much wore out. It ain't really that good but what the hell....its aged as well as she has.

18x24 watercolor paper, technical pen and probably pastel pencil or just regular pencil blended with a q-tip. This was done for a friend who owned a wine and spirits shop, so I guess it's a vine. Or a tree. Whichever....

Magic marker, sketchbook paper. Don't remember the size. Forgot all about this one...

Another half-assed attempt at doing SOMETHING "underground- like". Meh. Magic marker on sketchbook paper. (I still like the name, though.) Late 70's...
