Some shoulder studies using a statue by Borromini. The muscles on this guy were bizarre and somehow still anatomically correct. Medium: Charcoal on Newsprint Time: 30 min x 3

This is La'Kiesha Slade as Shay Dixon in the show Skam Austin :) As you can see by the dates, I left this untouched for more than 6 months, so it felt pretty good to finally wrap it up the other day!

I was feeling less than content when I did this drawing. However, the subject took my mind to a place I was yearning for.

We continue the #inktober environmental issues series with the #day19 word: #scorched and for this word I tried to illustrate the Urban Heat Island effect. This takes place in metropolitan areas that are warmer than the rural areas surrounding them. The main cause of the UHI effect is the alteration of land surfaces (concrete and asphalt). Heat waste produced by people and their tools (like vehicles and industry) is another cause and also the decreased amount of vegetation. UHIs often have lower air and water quality that have a negative effect on the environment of these areas. It is also considered to be a possible contribution to global warming. © Maria!Bălan, 2018

Recipe Card Design I created for my sister this past Christmas.

Been bingeing The Legend of Korra with my 3-year old. He *loves* the intro. In fact, I've caught him "bending" in the kitchen a few times. Cutest. Thing. Ever. Anyway, thought I'd give him his own intro. Meet your new Avatar.

Print available in my Etsy shop. Made on my iPad Pro.

For day18 the inktober word was bottle so this is quite simple. Let's recycle plastic bottles so we won't get buried in them.

Drawn on my new iPad Pro using Procreate. This is quite an app.

This is my second shot at a full page floral abstract. “Trippy Forest” is my extra-colorful one, but this one is focused on details done in red, blue, black.

Winter is the best season in my humble opinion. I love coats and scarves

I put this together for Arsene's last home match before he left Arsenal last season. Probably my favorite drawing to-date.

I painted this spider using sketchbook pro. Go check out its creation at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDVbsqkThFQ

you need: 1 tablet and a pen, a spoon of imagination, a software to cook with, and a single hour Welcome to my weekly exercise, called Scribble Sunday. I set a timer for one hour and start drawing whatever comes to mind. After an hour I stop and look at the result. This handsome guy came out of yesterday's drawing exercise. Please enjoy! - Crypto
