Shes served her best Christmas with an enormous train led by Brain Tanaka. I used charcoal and pastel brushes in Rebelle 6. I wanted a really simple composition so I could focus on her dress and their pose together. Happy Holidays everyone.
in my idle time over Christmas holidays, i was inspired to make something unlike any of my other art. so i raided my recycle bin and made this fun little thing that sits between my window and the blinds.

Oh, why am I not born somewhere with more light? I don't like it, when we only have 8 light hours and they are not so light at all. I generally make marks on something every day, but I'm really TRYING to do it purposefully in one single journal at a time. I also have super ADHD, which means I pretty much never go up to my actual studio and usually only use what's out on my desk, because out-of-sight-out-of-mind.
The name for this piece comes from a billboard I noticed as I was heading home from a shopping trip not too long ago, and it’s stuck with me ever since.
Life in lockdown (needless to say) brings with it plenty of time for us all to learn and get creative in whatever way works best..
It's 2019 and I am thankful for family, turkey dinner, and Rebelle 3! This Thanksgiving holiday I'm teaching my boys how to draw in Rebelle.
