Wow, its been a while since i was on here. Hope everyone is doing fine with Covid and all. Trying to get into the Spoopy season a little with some Spoopy wings....
Ta-da! Finally done! This was inspired by my annual back to school shopping trip in August with my mom, my siblings, and my grandma. The sign is a bit of a clue to that, the heart is similar for he logo of one of my favorite stores (until they closed last month), and the tan thing in the corner reminds me of the dusty playground we stop at between stores. The hair clip, butterflies, and purple corner (it's really a hair extension) are all from my favorite accessory store. The railing is for the walkway between stores and I don't really have to explain the shirt, skirt, pants, and shopping bag. No trip is complete without a bucket of pretzels to eat on the way home! Anyway, I hope you like my art!

Hope starts when we give up hopelessness and embrace new. Don't ask yourself which of these last people you may be . Just ask yourself if you want a better world than this. Concept idea for an upcoming canvas, but I’m not sure if it’ll stay like this. My days have had me wondering why certain problems exist, how we could solve them and how we can prevent in the future. This particular work will be focused on racism, and I’m very excited about the amount of research I want to do. I’ve been very angry and feeling powerless lately about this subject, and I’ll hope I’ll feel more useful after this project

Proud of it. It says “Nadezhda and Maksim” which are the Russian names. The wife’s name is Nadezhda meaning Hope. The husband’s name is the same as Maxim.
