traditional speedpainting,,,wierd, very fast but at the bird i stoped, its watercolor n some details whit oil, hope tou like,,its almost impresionism!!
Iam always mesmerised by the print of the great wave by Hokusai, it is stunning, I just had to recreate it, it is so much more detailed and time consuming than it first seems, but loved having a go at. I know there are no boats, I didn’t want them, just sky sea and land!
Brush with black ink and white acrylic paint on 9” X 12” acid free Strathmore Bristol smooth surface paper. The Image dimensions are about 5 1/2” X 8 ½. Signed and dated.
(The black ink was used for the character as well as for the background. The acrylic painting was used only for the small shapes in the background)
