Pretty in Pink

Just put all things japanese related that i know and familiar with in one illustration

Malik straining to keep the twisting pose. Decided to leave this one as a slightly rough red Bic pen sketch for now. There’s something to be said about the energy found in the work-up drawing.

What started off as a mess up ended up as a cool doodle. I plan on putting it up on my bedroom wall, maybe Walton will feel less hollow since he'll have some good company. I think everyone has a little bit of Walton in them at one point or another..

Part of a personal project I'm working on right now, to experiment with unfamiliar art styles and practice lettering skills by drawing animals. I enjoyed this foray into digital mosaic (or fauxsaic as I've seen it called).

Using more staining watercolour paints, I was able to glaze a couple layers over the first layer to make for a neat effect.

First sketch for my finished artwork. I revise the head on the left to rabbit + duck and human head on the right.
